69°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 80° today.

Been rather busy at work this morning being an adult babysitter. Did I miss the big Operation: BEFCON?

Operation BEFCON1 is complete. Got home it was raining. Wife did not want to drive on right garage, too tight. And, dont think there would have been room for me to unload from passenger side. Will need to ride in rear driver side for garage use, and move more stuff for wife to pull into garage.

So waited for rain to lighten up, and friends came to help since drive is gravel. Once in garage, was fine. New ramp works great.

Tight fit into bath, but it worked. Cant turn chair in front of seat. Have to do a 180° transfer with chair in doorway. It worked, but not OT approved method.

Bed ready on FR.

Thanks again for the helicopter and fire engine support, couldnt have pulled off the op without you.

When the nurse said, maybe 12 i muttered under my breath, I know where the door is, i dont need no stinkin paperwork.

I had 12 days in hospital with endocarditis and on the last day they wanted my bed for incoming patients but the paperwork was running late. So they sent me down to the 'Departure Lounge' No sense of humour there when I asked if the 'Departure Lounge' had Duty Free

Good evening all. 78F for the start, overcast, light wind. Thunderstorms developed in the area, wind was gusty in the outflows, high temp was 80F at 9AM, low temp was 73F at 3PM. Rain started at 10:15, heavy rain at about 11AM about 1 in total rain. Bike ride first thing cut short 1 lap when rain started. Worked on consulting project for work and got it done. No nap today

Buckeye good to hear BEFCON worked inspite of everything. I bet they started quaking the the helicopter flew overhead

Farmer hope your oldest is doing better. Looks like you doing much more chainsaw work than I am.

Seems like a reasonable request to me, and an absolutely barbarian response.

There should be a web site out there somewhere that rates rehab facilities, and a Duty Fee capacity should absolutely be one of the criteria.
