Not sure RNG got the memo. Ive got a subaru lined up as a backup.

Shhhhh! The Subaru is actually ..... primary!

RNG’s fire truck will create the diversion and the Chinook will swoop in and snatch up the Subaru ....... if things get wild.

Think ...... Keystone Cops.

First call this morning was wife in a panic, water poring out of the irrigation system it's been more aggravation than it's worth. So a trip to the lake to shut it down and find the problem, quick patch job hope it lasts until the weekend when I can pull everything out and pick up the parts to do a proper fix.
Still waiting for a control board to fix my stove, picked up a single burner induction unit after a week I'm just about had it with salad but better than McDonald's
Wng minor league games are great expecially with the family. Twin's farm Rock Cats were here in Connecticut made several trips with the family and son's little league team always had fireworks after a Friday night game. When my son was 10 we were at Disney for his birthday, took him to Cracker Jack field, Ray's farm team had a suite, birthday cake team signed a ball for him happy birthday on the score board. Great time.
BEF do you have the proper license to operate that big rig wheelchair

It will do if i take the feet rests off. Its an inch narrower, which is good. Harder to push.

Agree on minor league games being fun to go to.

Never got lunch, i sent the wrong one back. Never got the one i wanted.

David, my Craftsman bandsaw, an inexpensive model from years ago, is broken down due to the main engine drive rubber belt coming apart.
got a new belt, totally stymied on how to take unit apart. Got the circlip off, loosened a wide variety of nearby bolts
and expected assembly to slide out so I could slip belt in there, and slide
it would not. Seems to be above my pay grade. I should write down the model number and google it, would be wonderful if someone
else with seemingly nonexistent skills can change the darn belt.

94/113 out. Picked and bagged four gallon ziplocs of veggies, and then ran the flame torch for about an hour on garden weeds
until I just couldn't take the heat
anymore. Happy to now stay inside.

Exciting that Buckeye is headed home.

Drew, Don’t know if this helps...
I too had to replace the drive belt, disintegrated in storage. Ordered new from Amazon.

On mine, one just has to loosen/remove saw blade for access
Unfortunately, I also needed to clean both pulleys so had to remove the blade wheel. Simply remove circ and pull.

While our pains are different. I catch myself checking way to often. I sure appreciate the support TBN provides.

Me too!

The dovetails fit perfectly. We did not have time to clean up the pieces but the instructor said they clean easily with light sanding or alcohol wipe.

Don, I found out that acrylic plastic plate cuts well, while polycarbonate does not.

I just had to put new rubber bands on the shop's small band saw wheels. I ordered some orange urethane ones from ebay. They came in right sized with instructions. Made in USA.

Checking In:

I have found that kayaks, water, and electronics do not mix well in the past. All my old pictures of/on the water taken by a decent, cheap, point&shoot digital camera are on another computer drive.

Today we decided to take a day trip to visit our 92 yo friend from Piseco who due to age-related physical decline is now in a nursing home and w/o some miracle will be unable to return home. She is still “processing” her situation. Wifey and I are hoping for that miracle. We had a good visit. We hiked and bushwhacked Adirondack trails with her up until ~ 5 years ago.

BEF- The more you complained the better I felt knowing that you were working your way closer to discharge back home. I like everyone else are counting the days.

Eric- You have the basic American Indian concept of the Adirondacks correctly. The Adirondacks were originally claimed by two Indian nations, the Iroquois and the Algonquins. Neither group ever settled in the region, but the two nations fought over the Lake George - Lake Champlain water route through the Adirondacks. This route was the easiest one through the Adirondacks and was therefore a valuable resource. It really played itself out with the French & Indian War with the introduction of the French and English colonists into the mix. It ended poorly for the Native Americans.

“…. While our pains are different. I catch myself checking way to often. I sure appreciate the support TBN provides.”- RonJH.

Why judge “too often”? We check in as needed to hopefully get the support needed. Just “being there” for someone else is a powerful support. I truly believe there is a valid connectedness via the internet.

I was in a “very bad place” dealing with/accepting a disabling condition. The support provided through TBN really helped me get through that rough period.

“…. ALS does not seem to affect the mind. Just motor skills. When hands and mind work. Lots can be done.”- RonJH. Words from a hero posting on behalf of a heroine.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

graph sample of speed mm/sec (100-400) and power (10-80%). There is also a third option - resolution made by how many lines per mm the laser makes.

I learned a lot but I don't know if I'll enjoy it enough to become proficient. It is mostly computer work and mine would start on a Mac convert to a pc then convert to the laser on board computer. After you master the program and learn the ways to save the different file some which can be edited some cannot some compatible some not and then the 25 steps before you hit the start button . . . . Just give me a chainsaw and a a log.

Good evening all. 79F for the start, clear sky light wind. Wind became moderate, sky clouded up late morning, high temp was 98F HI 104. Was going to star on wood pile but had to wife in for Dr appt. this morning so worked on chain sharpening, had some issues, so when we went to town picked new files and they worked better. On our way to town got a call to see if we could sub in couples golf so we did. Cart worked well except floor was slick.
It is exciting that Buckeye is getting out, and fun reading of all the plans to help him exit cleanly :drink:
Ron good to here Betty can watch over Buckeye's care givers, may be of some help during the exit as well
Kyle hope Aunt's funeral goes well.
RNG, I'm sure you can take advantage of some under utilized roads!
Drew bandsaw was one of the downsizing casualties when moving to Texas, can do a lot of the bandsaw work with a jigsaw. Stepson had it not sure where it is now. So cant help you on drive belt replacement.
prayers for all

85 today. Rain off and on most of day. 73 currently. About the same tomorrow.

Spent the day holding onto a chainsaw. I’m feelin’ it. Stumped and topped about 35 trees. Most ended up being cut into logs. Still have 10 or so to process. Dad helped for a couple hours. Then dragged the pump back out of lake. Blowed the flex hose which was my prediction as it would only build 40psi. Cut it off but don’t have the clamps to repair it. Will get them tomorrow when I take oldest to therapy.

Youngest visit to specialist went ok. They changed some medication and made things more portable. Before we had to always pack a nebulizer. Now we have inhalers. But because of his age we have to spray them into a masked tube and count how many times he moves a one way valve. They did some blood work checking his immunity levels. Scheduled a sweat test for next visit. That’s the test they check for CF with. Doctor just covering bases. Doesn’t think he’ll be positive. If medication doesn’t work then they will scope him and examine airways and take mucus samples.

Found out yesterday that we lost a neighbor Tuesday. 72 I’m told he had a heart attach while mowing his yard. Daughter found him I think. She lives on lot beside them. I always enjoyed stopping by to talk to him. His wife used to work at the McDonald’s Playplace. She was always good to the boys.

Glad buckeye is getting out tomorrow. Are you going to have home restrictions or will you finally be free?

Everyone else get better.
