Good morning!!!!

93 today...last day in the 90s for a while...looks like clouds and rain may visit.

Got a nice t-storm at home last night, saw the lightning from the ballpark in Richmond...I won tickets to last night's minor league game...the Richmond Flying Squirrels vs. the Erie Seawolves. The Squirrels are a San Francisco Giants minor league affiliate. Quite a trip moving players back and forth across the continent during the season. Was fun...they have a lot of kid friendly activities...must have had 20 different kids and even Smokey the Bear throw out the "first pitch." Had to detour off our regular route home...sheriff blocked the road while the electric coop was clearing a lightning struck tree off the road.

Took longer than normal to get the bush hog onto the 3 pt hitch yesterday but I finally cut a small field of mature sunflowers. My larger field is just at peak bloom.

If grass ever dries out, I'll be back in the mowing business.

Hang in there, BEF...Don, I guess we need to get RNG's confirmation of Plan C since we've been "using" his new fire truck. Otherwise, BEF's wife might have to pick him up.

Ron, special prayers for you and Betty.

Good Morning!!!! 73F @ 7:45AM. Abundant sunshine. High near 100F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

If you and Betty are using Apple computers, Ron, there are lots of ways to make it easier to use under System Preferences -> Accessibility. After my mother's stroke she couldn't speak, but for a while could write. She wasn't a computer user, so taking advantage of the Accessibility options was no help, but it was very tough on both of us watching Mom's frustration at her inability to communicate.

Swung by the bike shop on yesterday's test ride to pick up a new bellows for the clutch lever and a new master cylinder. At that point the fork wasn't leaking, but it was farther on so I'll drop by today and get another crush washer for the drain plug, which seems to be the source. The roads were almost deserted, and I realize I haven't been taking advantage of my retirement very well...

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'...

Good Morning! It was 74° and humid this morning. Forecast says high will only get to 96° this afternoon.

Plan for today is mowing along perimeter fence lines, that I sprayed 2 weeks ago.

BEF .... you're on the countdown for the "Great Escape". As long as RNG Drains his FT water tank ..... plan D is good to go. The Texas Guard Chinook can sling lift 10,000lbs.

Don ..... are the burn marks, around laser cuts, easy to sand out of the wood box pieces. Do the dovetails fit up well?

Jay ....enjoy your travels and send pics.

Drew .... good luck with your RV search.

Everyone have an excellent Thursday.

Prayers to all.

While our pains are different. I catch myself checking way to often. I sure appreciate the support TBN provides.
Me too. I have lots of other support, but appreciate the support from tbn people i have never met.

Got my temporary wheelchair. It's friggin huge. I ordered a small one, figured they would give me a small temporary one. At least it's new. I had to take feet off to turn it around by my bed.

72°F and cloudy this morning with some spotty light rain, going up to 80° today. More rain expected this afternoon. Looking at an unusually mild weekend, with a high on Sunday of 77°. That's virtually unheard of around here in August. But, we'll take it.

This countdown is getting exciting, BEF.

69°F and .03 in rain.
Spent the day cleaning up a bit, putting stuff back in their place and finally assembling my Craftsman bandsaw that has lived too long in its box. Ordered a metal cutting blade for my FOPS project

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

The dovetails fit perfectly. We did not have time to clean up the pieces but the instructor said they clean easily with light sanding or alcohol wipe.

David, my Craftsman bandsaw, an inexpensive model from years ago, is broken down due to the main engine drive rubber belt coming apart.
got a new belt, totally stymied on how to take unit apart. Got the circlip off, loosened a wide variety of nearby bolts
and expected assembly to slide out so I could slip belt in there, and slide
it would not. Seems to be above my pay grade. I should write down the model number and google it, would be wonderful if someone
else with seemingly nonexistent skills can change the darn belt.

94/113 out. Picked and bagged four gallon ziplocs of veggies, and then ran the flame torch for about an hour on garden weeds
until I just couldn't take the heat
anymore. Happy to now stay inside.

Exciting that Buckeye is headed home.
