81 degrees for a low both yesterday and today, forecast to go to 100 today, as it did yesterday. Heat index up to 110. Definitely miserable outside this week unless you get out early.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 62° with partly cloudy skies. Heading to 81° with mostly sunny skies. Got lawn cut and few other small jobs done yesterday. May start putting the mulch down that I purchased back in May. Wife has a Dr appointment. That will use up the afternoon.

Bird, does your wife have a portable oxygen concentrator? Trying to get some info on them for my wife.

Buckeye, glad you are improving daily. Prayers sent.

Randy and others in recovery. Prayers sent for fast recovery.

RNG and Rick, muddy showers. Hope you cleaned the mess in shower after you were done. Neither of you will be on moms like list if not.

Steppen, nice place to visit.

Kyle, I need a haircut also. Place where I have been getting mine closed. Drove by the place Tuesday. Signs say new owner and opening soon. Hope it is soon. If I wait much longer will need a perm. :D

Wngsprd, good that you mentioned cleaning out sand. I need to clean out the sediment collection area that is on my end of culvert for side road.

Good Morning All.

Good morning! 78˚F before sunrise, clear skies, heading to the 100s.

Trying to get out of the house early, they are calling for TRACTOR WORK at the garden. One more day or two if I stretch it. The hardest part is finding and loading the rock, I'm running out of 60-80 pound rocks and the rest are 80 - 200 pound rock, but I get to load fewer. The rock are the border for the windmill garden and are in our rock graveyard where they put thousands of rock when they cleared the ground for the vegetable gardens. The ones for the boarder have to be about the same size thickness.

Randy check in if you can, Buckeye hope you had a restful night - Ron and Betty one day at a time.

Ok night. New roommate is young, cant take pain, like getting blood drawn..

Woke me from deep sleep at 445 to take vitals... Then woke me. Again at 6 for meds. Ate breakfast and still hungry.

Good yankee game last night, they demolished the Os.

Wife cant come by today, so will be a longer day..

Good Morning. It's 77°F with 96% humidity this morning. We'll see 101°F this afternoon. Looks like at least another week of this heat.

I'm planning on a bit of ZT mowing before it gets really hot, then turn on the big fan in the shop and work on some projects.

Ron ...... Inogen Brand are the portable oxygen concentrators we see advertised on TV.

Hope everyone has an excellent day today.

Prayers to all.

That’s the one we are looking at. I just wonder how much of the price is for advertising. Kind of like buying hearing aids. Way overpriced.

Have you investigated if Medicare covers all or part of the cost Ron? Do you subscribe to Consumer Reports? I'd bet they've looked into these devices.

No, Ron, she has the big one in the house with a long hose. And when she leaves the house, she has the little 6 cu. ft. bottles (not the big tall ones they show on TV trying to sell their small oxygen generators). Margaret's oxygen bottles are less than 14 inches tall, and she has a carrying case or bag with a sling that the bottle is in. She thought the TV adds made those little oxygen generators look good, and I imagine they are good, but they're actually not much lighter in weight than the bottles Margaret uses. And between our Medicare and our high priced Medicare supplement, this stuff the doctor prescribed doesn't cost us anything. I'm not sure whether Medicare and our insurance would cover the Imogen or the other one that just recently started advertising on Tv.

Thanks.
We have the little ones and the ones with a cart. Trips to Dr use one of the little one and 1/2 of cart one. She needs continuous flow. Which eats the tanks up fast.

Forgot I need to go grocery shopping this morning. No outside projects this morning.
