USING the PTO puts stress on it. Should we only use it for barbecue then? There's a difference between 'might break' and what tractor is made to do.

I guess the need to be close to a dealer is for ham-fisted guys that break tools. I haven't yet, but give me another 13 years of operating and I might bust a tractor. "none out of five" broke so far.

Yeaaa, but nothing like the "side stress", of extending the pto shaft length, does!
