Small accomplishments Randy.

Mine was scooting from hospital bed to a chair so they could change my sheets. The people here are super nice.

And the best hospital food i ever had. You order your meal from a menu when you want it, and they deliver. Not your ordinary pick from 2 items and everyone eats at same time. They have soups, salads, 12 entrys, sides, sandwiches, grill, pasta, stirfry,breads, desserts, drinks.

My legs feel weaker again today. Maybe i expected too much today.

Minister and wife visited today. Good friend. He's originally a west virginia country boy, has a farm.

Good evening all. 71F for the start, mostly clear sky, light north wind. Sky stayed clear until late afternoon. wind became moderate, and high temp of 92F. Change over to Trek to start the day, then bike ride with the group. I did get a good nap in, finished the sale of the golf cart. and went to town for milk and dinner.

Glad to hear your happy with your LS David. I was very pleased with my previous LS XR4046HC and even more so with the XR4155HC.

I've never been able to bog it down, in deep grass, with my Woods 6' rotary cutter or LS 84" rear finish mower.

I'm still looking into flail mowers with hydraulic side shift. I think I've settled on the Woodmaxx line. I've got plenty of power for the FM-78H (30 PTO HP) but trying to decide if I should gamble on the FM-88H. It requires 50 PTO HP and I'm at 44 PTO HP. I won't be voting anything but grass as I've got the Woods Cutter for deep stuff. I also have the big New Holland and Bush Hog 3008 cutter.

I am also thinking of a Woodmaxx flail. I have about 38 PTO HP so, the 78 might be too big for me. Currently, I have a Titan Chinese flail that will likely be replaced eventually. Let me know how you like the Woodmaxx once you have a few laps on it.

Don what did you end up buying for your golf cart?

I'm still checking the bulletin board weekly when the adds go up. In this golf cart community about three go up for sale each week. I'm looking for either a gas model or extended battery or the new lithium battery model with 4 seats and a dump bed would be nice also it should go at least 30 mph. What are you going to replace the golf cart you sold with?

The FM-78 only requires 30 HP so ..... you would be ok def. Which Titan flail do you have?

I'm looking at the hydraulic side shift model to make it easier to mow the perimeter, of two good sized ponds, without getting so close to the edge. I slid a Kubota B-2710 with 72" mid-mount mower off the edge, luckily in very shallow water, several years ago.

On my tractor the FM-78H would cut about 16-18" beyond my right tires, when shifted. The FM-88H would increase that to about 24-26" according to Woodmaxx specs.

My LS has a 3rd remote that could power the side shift cylinder. My other two remotes are used for hydraulic top and side links.

I understand your concerns about the hp. I’ll just say I don’t think you can always go by manufacturers suggested hp.

I was concerned when I borrowed a pulverizer from a friend. It’s a flail with swinging hammers. I have 47pto hp the 6’ calls for 40 and 8’ 60hp. His was the 8’. I could pull it without any problems as long as I didn’t let litter come over the front edge. It has hinged front and rear doors to try and reduce the dust created. About 6-8”. These are pulled in 1st or 2nd gear anyways regardless of hp.

The 6’ windrower is a harder pull and is recommended for 40hp. I can pull my Kubota down from pto to 1500 rpm in first gear. I try to clutch it and let it recover before that point though. Probably 1700-1800 rpm.

The decruster is a 60hp rating also. It is the easiest pull of the 3. I only run it at 1700 engine rpm. Because it runs too fast above that. Chains start slapping. Usually I find I don’t have a slow enough gear and I have to stop because it’s not processing the material at feed rate before I notice rpm drop. Only reason I think it is a 60hp machine is because of weight. It’s heavy over 6k.

If your close then I wouldn’t be afraid of it.

Good morning all. Opened the fridge and found some leftover snack food for breakfast today, after a party for the oldest grandchild yesterday :licking: . He is 9 later this week, how time flies. My daughter and SIL have vegan friends so some plant based food are always on the menu. This year was a first though as the clear disposable drink cups and forks were plant based (corn starch) too as a younger generation start to turn their back on unnecessary plastics.

Thomas, you deserve some new scenery after 45 years at the same place! Is your wife looking forward to a few more fishing trips ?

BEF, good to hear they discovered the cause of your mystery illness and best of all, that it is treatable.

Randy, great to hear your wedding went well. Hope you and Ellen are soon able to enjoy the "and in health" part of your vows.

Roy, even with the decimal place inserted, 3.5 TB is still a heck of a lot of storage for most home users! How many favourite films do you keep ?

My disk storage is much more modest as I don't store video and my music collection has stayed static since I switched to streaming. I have used "cloud" storage for off-site backup for the last five years and it still hasn't got past 60 GB. Last month I dropped Dropbox and bought 500 GB of "lifetime" space with a company called pcloud, which should last me a good while pCloud - Best Lifetime Cloud Storage.

Kyle, I've never seen, let alone tasted, peach ice cream, it sounds delicious.

Julie is doing well thanks. She has been good at keeping up with the exercises and the local hospital is still helping her to get close to the full range of movement that she had before. Max has been busy trying to figure out where the rabbits are hiding.

Got some sleep last night, so that was nice.
