Thanks for all prayers. First treatment finally started.

Randy, great to hear from you.

Was worried about spinal tap, but didn't feel a thing.

Is there any monthly/yearly payments for the right of way?

No, one payment then it theirs till they abandon it, if that is in the agreement otherwise - forever. You cannot plant trees, put ponds, dig or build building on the easement (50' wide). They can enter it whenever they want. But you continue to pay property taxes on it. You try to make the one time payment cover the devaluation of the whole property, they try to pay you just for the long 2-3 acres across the property.

Randy glad to here are are improving.

Used to be companies made a big deal of retirement parties, to show the benefits of loyalty.
Sadly that job reality faded away a long time ago, for all kinds of reasons.
I think there are very few companies giving out Bulova watches at retirement any more.
Those were nice traditions. Thomas, glad you made it, impressive achievement. Hopefully you'll have plenty of hobbies
to keep you busy.

10 day forecast is all mid 90's and above. Hard to get much done in the afternoon heat, so have to start my day early.
One of my jobs to do is patch/seal a section of my driveway where pine tree roots have cracked the surface. But showers forecast for every afternoon
is a problem, can only do the sealing around dinner time after UPS trucks/anyone isn't likely to need the driveway. I left several cans of unopened sealer out/under the shed all winter long, curious to see what that looks like when I go to stir; have a big bucket stirrer I put on my largest electric drill.

60F clear mid 80's for high lot less humid.

Chores are done, while looking around outside for moment I couldn't figure out what was missing :dance1:as I enter shed I notice dry mud smear foot print on bench top than I took another look out side near woods line, bear had roll or drag 55 gallon burn barrel into the woods, all that work he/she did for there was no goodies to be had.
Plans for today...store for critter food, dump run, pickup load hard pack for the driveway, start replacing tractor snow plow blade where rust has eaten thru...all in all nice slow steady pace. ;)

Enjoy the day all.

72 and sticky...going to 92. At least when it gets to the 90s the humidity tends to drop. The storm missed us by "inches" yesterday.

What a great day, yesterday, hearing about Toppop's improvements and wedding, BEF's getting the answer to his health puzzle, and Thomas picking the date...

Thomas, hope to hear more about your plans after retirement to maybe move to Kentucky, or hopefully here to Virginia.

Don, good luck on the pipeline...the 5th Amendment is supposed to give you some protection but I'm afraid it's gotten watered down after 228 years.

Eric, I think the flower pix yesterday got me wondering...did Julie's broken arm heal good as new? ...and haven't heard how Max is doing?

I need to mow again...trying to decide whether to sharpen the blades before mowing. I have to wait for grass to dry from heavy dew anyway.

Good Saturday Morning. It's 77°F and humid this morning. It's expected to get to 96°F this afternoon.

I did get the "evil tree" trimmed up yesterday. Had I done this last week .... I wouldn't be replacing my rear tractor window.

In a couple of weeks, I'll go back and trim a bit more. I did all this with my HF Lynxx 40 volt pole saw. I'll use the Echo pole saw, which extends further, for the final trimming.

Everyone have a great weekend.

Prayers to all.

Drinking second cup of coffee. 57° with clear skies. Heading to 88° with some chance of midday thunderstorms. Got friends RV projects completed yesterday. Back to my stuff today. Flail mower is still on dolly. May get it on tractor today. Ready to cut fields today or tomorrow. Lawn needs cutting also. Oh and a whole pile of tools and material to put away.
I forgot about the watch I received when I retired after 35 years with same company. I have never worn it.

Drew, good choice on RV. Also in the same category is Phoenix Cruiser.. They do make them with no slides also.

Thomas, hope the bear did no poke hole in your barrel.

Randy, Buckeye and others recovering. Best wishes and prayers sent.

Good Morning All.
