Just had a spinal tap, to test for GBS. All symptoms point to that.

Actually, looking for positive. If it's not that, they don't know what to treat.

Officially diagnosed as Guillain Barre Syndrome, caused by an unknown bacterial infection. Rather rare.

The immune system attacks the nerve system.* I will have 5 days of iv treatment starting tonight.* Treatable, but full recovery will take some time.

Wow, I'm glad too they figured something out. Prayers for your treatment and speedy recovery! I was trying to imagine myself not being to use my legs. I'm sending you extra prayers my friend.

Don, I don't know what to say about eminent domain. I see the new pipeline going across 77 a few miles north of town. They put in a pump substation and all just by the road. It looks like the actual fields where the pipe is buried,are in decent hay condition from what I can see. Not sure of long term effects. Is there any monthly/yearly payments for the right of way?

Speaking of Ellen, we were married last Saturday in pretty ceremony on our deck with about 35 friends and family, my son was my best man, considering how close he was to his mom, that was a big step.
Ellen has been an absolute angel through my illness and I have no idea what my fate would have been without her.

My retirement was all paper after 25 years. My boss and upper level management did not agree with corporate. I just walked away. It was poorly handled.

Good evening all. 71F this morning, calm wind, clear sky. Wind from north again and moderate, sky stayed mostly sunny, and high temp was 91F. Bike ride this morning, repositioning helped the spedo but not complete fix. Wife wants to go back to electric golf cart, should have the gasser sold.
