Beer, whats yours?

They used to say the same of Emu Bitter re the factory on the can, it was truly a terrible brew fit only for clearing blocked plumbing.
As for Scotch, I love a nice single malt all by itself, my brother is the same and we can make absolute bastards of ourselves with a couple of bottles in a night and regret it the next morning, our tastes in beer are very similar too, we are heading down to his place in three weeks so look out Tasmania, lock up your supplies.
Now bourbon, I find it just rough and hot and it doesn't work for me, I do like Zubrovka vodka but not many other spirits.
I remember when I was in Russia we were on a Russian air base as guests in the officers mess and they gave us samples of their finest all night, the first time I experienced airsickness the following day while we were still on the tarmac.

Oooh! Tassie Scotch is making a great name for itself internationally. Gin too.

"Larks Distillery" has a tasting room off of the Hobart foreshore (next door to the 'Mawson's Hut' display). I've imbibed and the offerings are yummy.

When I could get it I used to like Schooner out of Nova Scotia. Never cared for Moosehead that I think was from New Brunswick.

Also liked a beer that I forgot the name of. It was in the 1970's in Alberta, Canada and I remember the bottle cap had a buffalo (bison) on it. Never could find it again.

Maybe it WAS Moosehead and you were drunk?

I have a couple of books on the subject by Michael Jackson, he used the same line in one of his documentaries, was quite entertaining.

Here is my favorite church key and I have it in regular use to this day. Manhattan Beer was reported to be associated with Al Capone. From what I can tell it is roughly 100 years old.

I really like this beer; unfortunately it's not available locally. The Amana Village (or Amana Colonies I believe it's called) was fun to visit; the best wine I ever tasted was there...cranberry.

Didn't see any Mexican beers mentioned. My favorite is Tecate or Sol. Otherwise Budweiser. Have not found any of the cutesy name craft beers I like. Except for Fireman's Brew. I got several kinds for my son in law who is a firefighter and it was pretty decent.

I like Negro Modella when I can find it, also I didn't think Sol was Mexican although I think it is better than Corona.

Either someone told me it wasn't or there is another one in a similar bottle, I know Aldi had a Corona style beer for a while but can't remember what it was.
We have a heavily fruiting lime tree so if you want to bring some over and enjoy a nice frosty morning........

The Vicar's Cross double IPA gets you where you need to go quickly, definitely my winter favorite. Summer stuff I enjoy anything if it's cold. Sol is good for lighter enjoyment as well but can't find it in area anymore.
