Did get most of my projects done at the lake yesterday but had to cut it short when my family all stopped by to celebrate my birthday. Look like I need to finish today but only grass cutting left with zt will be a quick job.

Nice t shirt, reminds me of the pencil drawing one of my daughters gave me for Christmas one year.


Now it's time to get my self in gear and get over to the farm,
may be the 4th of July but it's also hay making weather finally.
We mowed, chopped and bagged over 100 tons yesterday, another 100 today.

Good morning. The low was in the mid 40's this morning. It looks like the high for today will be in the high 70's with a 50% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.

Been busy trying to get things done around here. Been trying to find someone to work on the house and garage roofs. I don't do heights. Also looking at getting some road base for the driveway. Bought some snow fencing that I need to get up. You never know when it's going to snow here.

But I have been keeping up on everything thing going on here.

Just wanted to wish everyone a great 4th of July.

Hope everyone gets healthy and stays that way. Also gets to enjoy the new tractors.

81 this morning and headed to 86 today. HI 93 headed to 98. Thunderstorms this afternoon. We’ve had 2.9 inches in last 2 days. We wet again.

Chicken coops are washed and waiting for clean out crew. Should be here Saturday. Start hauling Monday.

Happy 4th. Enjoy the day all.

Getting ready to go to Gulf Shores next week. Take kids on vacation to the ocean. Oldest has been before and loved it. Youngest might be afraid of waves. Hope not. But he’s gotten very scared lately. Last night was thunder for the first time.

could not figure out why water pressure was down, checked all outlets all over the farm, took a shower,
definitely not right, checked under crawl space and sure enough another broken plastic pipe, to the garden sprinkler pump again,
flooded entire crawl space of house, starting to leak out into back lawn. Waste of water plus another plumbing bill. Since it was his work that broke
the last time, and it broke again, I think his bill will be small...plus he is stopping what he is doing on July 4th and coming straight here.
Good thing since I have no water now. Glad I took my shower...

I think we are going to re-engineer this install so this doesn't happen again. I may ask him to come back and do it in steel pipe.

Happy Birthday America

71°F and .59 inches rain. Looking to be a pretty day

Expect around 50 folks to show up for our annual 4th celebration. Grilling some chicken tenders and thighs that have been marinating overnight.

Exciting to get the new tractor, waited a month to take delivery and still doesn’t have my 3rd rear remote installed. Apparently LS didn’t send right parts. So far less than favorably impressed with corporate LS, feel bad for newish dealer trying to make it.

Did drive it around yesterday, just trying to get the new feel over different parts of property, different center of gravity, etc. No tractor today, but expect to mount the flail tomorrow and get some mowing in.
