GX 3025 pto question

New to me GX 3025, 2016, 65 hrs,,just bought it today,,everything seems ok to me,,,my only concern is it seems like the pto us not running quietly,,never had an LS before,,may be normal,,also the pto shaft does not turn when it is turned offr,,this may also be normal,,the owner could not find the manuals today but is looking for them .any help appreciated,, theres a dealer not to far from here,,may ride by there tomorrow,,any thoughts appreciated

well I went to the link I had saved for LS to share the link for the owners manual, and it's no longer there. apparently they've stopped making the xg line and have replaced with the MT line.

I do have the owners manual in PDF form saved on my computer, if I could figure out how to share it with you I would be happy to. In the mean time, I'm going to keep looking to see if I can find it online, that's ridiculous that they don't still make that available online somewhere

Just a little fyi,,went by the dealership and the pto output shaft does not "freewheel" according to the folks there,,its made to quit spinning when its turned off,,this tractor has been sitting up for a while and he said to run the stew out it, could have a little corrosion built up in the drive train,,its also got a couple years warranty left and if it breaks they will fix it,,I bush hogged with it a little this morning and it all works ok,,we'll see

wow, I should have told you that. That's one of the things with the electric PTO. Can be a good thing, or if you're trying to line up a PTO shaft, can be a bad thing, LOL

if it's been sitting that long without being run, I would personally change all the fluids and filters before I ran it much. Condensation will form on the inside and mix the moisture with the oil
