Tomatoe Plants not looking good. Night temps 9c and daytime 20c.

If you were to measure the temp in "F" instead of "C".. the tomatoes will do MUCH better,,
Today,, our temp is 80F,, that is MUCH better than 26C,,, heck, WAY over double,,,

Just spoke with my Mom. A friend of hers has had a garden for forty years and this is the first time her garden is dying too.

Chem Trails! What else could it be?:confused3:

I don't put tomato plants out until late June/early July. I've got a cheap-o 5x5 greenhouse I'll keep them in until then. Peppers stay in the greenhouse all summer.
Just doesn't get warm enough here.

Curiously, does anyone else have problems with crows eating the corn? They don't eat the seeds, they'll wait until the seeds just sprout then eat them. I'll cut out the bottom of fountain drink cups and put them over each seedling until it gets 2-3" high, that's the only thing I've found that deters the crows.
It's not like we have lots of crows...just one family from what I can see, but boy they sure like corn sprouts!

We passed thru your area last week on our way to my stepson's. Pretty country!

Same here,, one or two crows,, the corn plants are pulled up, the little green growing stem is nipped of, and laying there,, the kernel is GONE !!

We found a pretty good solution,,
aluminum hanging from thin twine.,,

About 4 pieces for a 15X35 patch of corn,, no more crows.

We started with simply aluminum foil,, that did not last,,, but, a 9X13 disposable aluminum cake pan cut into 4 pieces,, does great.

The corner of the pan really dances to the slightest breeze. suspend the pan corner on about 6" of thin twine.

I even have a nut tied to the twine on a couple,, the nut will tap the pan,, crows are gone!!
They hate the reflection as the pan twists in the breeze.
They think it is someone looking at them.

We have a lot of ghetto chickens here, but so far they haven't learned about the corn pulling trick. I don't put out that much corn so I start them in egg flats and transplant when the garden gets tilled. They are usually about 2-3" high by that time.

I wonder if that would work down here for flies. I have seen some folks hang a bag of water maybe with coins in it around a shed. Or two liter soda bottles with a ribbon of foil in it and filled with water. First time I saw it was when an older fella was cooking and selling bbq here in town. All he had was his pit and a picnic table. He had the soda bottle with foil. After looking around I realized there were no flies.

Squirrels will do the same thing as crows to corn sprouts...I plant coated seeds and they are not bothered until the seed germinates and the kernel is cracked open and the squirrels can smell it after the coating is broken...

I start them inside in 1" cell packs, then transplant when they are about 5-6" tall and beyond the point where crows will bother them. This year it's also giving the seedlings a head start as the ground is still too cold to plant.
Other things the crows will do is pull up my onion sets, apparently thinking they're corn; and go into the henhouse to steal the eggs.

I doubt that it's chem trails, as those control your mind and you don't even know that they're affecting you. I believe that it has something to do with our exploration on Mars. I have no evidence to back up my claim; but nobody has suggested it yet and I want to be the first to start the lies- ER, bust the story wide open.
