Got some more mower quotes from Messick. Got to decide what to do.

ferris IS700 and kubota Z421 about same price,
unless you really like to use your grease gun, check to see how many zerks there are on the Ferris, and if you can get to the ones
on the rear suspension easily without taking off the wheel. Years ago I was amazed at how many grease points there were on the fully 4 wheel independent
suspension, just like a car. Which is why the Ferris rides so well. I forget the model but I had an earlier large Ferris.
If your ground is bumpy, I'd buy the Ferris. Otherwise they usually have the same Kawasaki engine
and similar drive systems. Unless you are cutting super heavy grass/field with the mower, my experience with zturns has been 27hp is good for a 60 inch deck, fuel injection
is desirable if offered. I'd take a Briggs Vanguard engine also. External oil cooler is a nice touch.
BEF, I'm sure with kids in college this is the last thing you want to buy right now..., big purchase. Any zero percent financing?

some chance of showers tonight. That would sure be good, at least save the lawn. But I still have to water trees today, wondering if there was some way to water
my potatoes using my orchard sprayers rear boom. I don't think it tilts...Of course I could just hold a hose on the potatoes, would be a lot of trips at 50 gallons a trip.
They are too far for watering using hoses, though I suppose I could add some and get there.
Low nineties today. Errands this morning, mow and water later.

Good morning. 62 now, may get to 70 today. Weekend was warm. 86 yesterday. First really warm weather of the year.

Wife and I went shopping for assorted plants Saturday. She has most of the flowers planted. Garden needed tilled again so The was my project yesterday. Seemed like I did a lot of mowing Saturday.

Feeling the effects of all of the sun today......

1st cup of coffee is gone. Time to get moving. Everyone have a safe and good day.

Good morning. We had perfect weather for outdoor working over the weekend, cool and cloudy without rain. I made good use of some it concreting, weed whacking and repairing fences, then messed around changing over scopes and sighting in my Browning T bolt for one last time. It is a nice compact little ***** with a super slick straight pull action, but I fancy a change and there are probably more different 22 rimfires to choose from now than ever before. Any suggestions ?

CWB, congrats on your 40 years together.

Scrambler, how does skin-so-soft work, do insects just admire your body instead of puncturing it, or is it that they slide off before being able to sink their needles in ? :)

Mostly, thanks for the fishing pics. Great T shirt

Poured first cup of coffee. 51ー with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 54ー with cloudy skies. Got 1.4" of rain yesterday. Did get old wiring harness out of golf cart yesterday. Laying on my back under golf cart. Plan is to install new harness today. Not much else. Everything is too wet.

Looking, I think you lost a day. "Have a good Sunday all"

Mostly, good pictures.

RNG, David, using a hydraulic cylinder. How about hooking too tractor hydraulics. I have the same kit that RNG linked. Lot of pumping to get a small movement.

Buppies, have a good Dr visit.

Buckeye, lawnmower shopping. They sure are expensive.

Good Morning All.

Buppies just want to say good luck.

Nice five MG.

BEF, I’ve never owned a Ferris, but I love my Kubota, mine is fully greaseable though. The suspension seat helps the ride a lot. Mine has a Khoeler, I think it’s a Command. But I would have to look. Very quiet and smooth and the dampened tillers are sweet.
