Went to Sunrise service this morning, very pretty.

Went to the cruise in last night, Gracie ran for a loud motorcycle and jerked the leash out of Ellen’s hand, broke her ring finger, pretty nasty spiral fracture. Had to cut her engagement ring off, she’s more upset about that than the finger.

Got in a visit with mom, she’s not as good today, didn’t eat her KFC she asked for, mostly sleeping.

Dinner and doggie Easter egg hunt later.

Doesn’t look like she will need surgery, it was turned sideways and she grabbed it and straightened it up before the swelling set in, probably saved her more grief.

I agree- Sad, but true at least for this History's cycle of extremism and genocidal beliefs and actions. The next round around the Big ? will be Who does what to whom? With climate change and increased global competition for ever decreasing available resources the cycle will only increase in frequency and intensity.

David- I am happy to read that you are feeling better..

Randy- I am sorry to read about Mom and Ellen’s finger and ring. I hope the finger heals quickly. My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers for your Mom.

Despite the drizzle and overcast the ride form CT was uneventful. For you bikers and driving enthusiasts the drive from Westfield, MA to Cummington, MA by way of RT 20 to Rt 112 is a really nice ride through some scenic countryside. The Westfield River was ~ flood stage. This area is known for its Spring White Water.

Birds were waiting when we arrived home. Bird feeders and suet replaced + the first of three hummingbird feeders and now the sun is trying to make an appearance. I saw my first cricket frog.

Life moves on.

I hope everyone is having the Sunday they anticipated.

it would probably be a good day to continue running the aerator over the lawn.

And, it was a great day to use the aerator! I got about 2/3rds of the lawn done...stopped to have a beer and enjoy the day.

I ordered a set of bar tires for the zero turn mower. Should be delivered this week (Tuesday or Wednesday, I think). Although the majority of the lawn is flat and level, there are a couple sloped areas. I've read that bar tires (bar turfs, actually, cause less problems then standard turfs do...guess I'm going to find out a a few days...

Hey David, welcome back.

Got to spend the morning at worship with the boys, took them to lunch, then started the 1000 mile trek back home. In mid TN tonight. Ordered a pizza delivery to the hotel, then called and talked to dad.

Lose an hour first thing in the morning...
All is well on the cat cam at home, lol

64F overcast upper 60's for high with on/off showers rain later tonight.

Sat outside until dark watching 5 deer feed 35' from me while listening to the peepers the first time this year enjoying smooth cigar.
Nice size Tom turkey started gobbling 6am this morning,but the 6 ladies show very little interest.
Plans for today... dump run,gas for pickup and back pack blower,critter food,try get some more yard raking cleaning done.
Time to kick the tires light the fire as they say head to town.

I love watching the deer. Hope the turkey was good.

Good evening all. 60F in Kerrville this morning, overcast, windy. Sky cleared off, stayed windy and observed high temp was 84F on the way home. 35 miles this morning and trip home Fri-Sunday totals 186 miles, 7,000 ft climb, no flats or other mechanical issues, bike chain does need a good cleaning.
