Ron same here about the shopping.
Did any know there is a clear tint for the front windshield that cuts UV rays and keeps cars cooler? Does anyone have it?

One of the 2 major supermarkets chains in the "Big City" have workers on strike and picketing = the non-striking supermarket we frequent is swamped with new consumers confused, some confused to begin with, no clue as to layout, colliding in the aisles . Great timing for the union with Easter and Passover coming; bad timing as to how consumers may have switched to Mom&Pa grocery store operations.

I got a decent workout walking Brogen and later wading through and re-stacking firewood today. That :censored: "Wifey-cute" groundhog apparently decided to expand his subterranean condo complex under the concrete blocks supporting the woodpile last fall.... Spring rain.... High wind... And then some pick up sticks. Unlike Ted my Mr Knee only "locks up" the joint with no pain/discomfort after a workout. I had previous surgery in the area, I suspect some nerves got severed; my orthopedist probably suspects I have a compromised mental status; I do not care as long as I am moving.

I hope everyone's day was +

I always thought the glass in the windshield itself stopped almost all the UV rays already. And that the photo tint glasses I wear don't darken behind a windshield because they don't get sufficient UV exposure.

And it's Infra Red (IR) that does the heating.

Sounds like perfect snake oil to me, Don.

Ouch! At least you're safe and no one was hurt!

Instead of digging up the leaking line, can you dig a new trench that avoids the concrete?

I wish, but house is almost completely surrounded by concrete. Absolutely no clear path to existing tank or place to put new tank. Of course driveway etc wasn’t concreted until after lines were in. Victim of evolving design

Found the problem with the Journeys' check engine light. She needs one of the O2 sensors replaced. That will happen 2 May when they change over the snows to summer tires and fix the coolant leak at the thermostat housing.

Good evening all. 62F for the start, some clouds, light wind. Clouds soon built up, wind cranked up early, and high temp of about 76F. Day started with cleaning lady prep, started on some consulting work, went to recap of POA board meeting last night, bike ride, and fired up new power washer, and worked on front porch.
David, sorry to hear about your propane line.
Rich good luck with your machine situation across the pond.
Bill, sorry to hear about your check engine light. Have an issue with the van, code says cat efficiency low, had misfires from water in engine compartment, 1500 to replace cats, if that is what it is. Will put 650 miles on it this weekend.
Drew if your bolts are backing out, try some thread lock. there is 2 grades start with the removable stuff. Loctite blue or equivalent. Got a prefab shelter from Home Depot. Not too expensive, but did loose more shelf space. :(
Jay interesting story. Nice poem.
Buppies, don't get scratched while swinging the cats:D Good luck hunting.
Prayers for all.

It does need more research there are several youtubes that show the UV numbers but I've noticed the same as you with my glasses, I'll see how they explain it.

So I was thinking about those korean batteries in Rick's headset that went bad and then realized I have a korean battery in my car.
Someplace.
I don't remember seeing it. Reluctant to search the 500 pages of the owners manual I did a physical search. I thought it was under the fuse box by the fire wall but did not want to start pulling on things. So I caved and found a youtube, several youtubes - you jump start under the hood at terminals in the fuse box but the battery is located in the trunk under the spare tire - good to know. To open the trunk the battery has to give power to the latch. There is no key hole for the trunk. When the battery is completely dead (It is a hatch back) you fold down the back seats crawl to the back wall and release the emergency trunk release. This is also good to know if you get kidnapped and get thrown in the trunk.

What’s the saying about a picture worth...

So here is an overview of proposed concrete cuts and new high pressure lines. Likely take advantage and replace existing 250g tank with 500g instead of adding 2nd 250 at rear of tractorshed. The low pressure lines are existing. Regulators not shown. Not to exact scale, but also shows the various LP appliances.

Two concrete cuts, 40ft and 16ft. New high pressure lines will be poly run thru pvc/abs chase.

I fully expect this to involve seat time. 🤙

A while ago, I remember reading about a way to attach a steel pipe to a garden hose, and use it to jet a hole under a concrete driveway. I don't know how far you have to go, or how large the new gas line is, but something along those lines might work.

You could even soup it up by using a pressure washer to feed the pipe, but that might be over doing it!
