Good morning!!!!

Wifey broke her glasses last night, so today will entail finding an optometrist and hopefully new glasses. Has anyone used CostCo eye center? How fast is the turn around on glasses?

Sorry to hear about the glasses, Ted. I've been getting lenses for my frames at Costco for a while now. Usually takes a week, and so far, the prescription has always been good. Not very happy with their frame selection, though, so I shop online for those.

The USPS will not deliver here in any condition be it rain, snow, sleet, dark of night, sun, heat, wind, mud, blackflies, big dogs, crazy occupant, etc.

I used to complain about the old mailman bending up magazines and not getting mail far enough into the box so it would drop out of reach (it's a locking box). We had a couple of conversations and worked through those issues, then the last time I saw him he told me that he was being switched to a different route. It seems the gal on that route kept getting the truck stuck, and couldn't get it turned around in one of the smaller cul-de-sacs. Now she's my mailwoman, and we're back to bent magazines, and problems with both the security door on the box and not locking the parcel locker. Just when you think it couldn't get any worse, it does...:muttering::pullinghair:

Hope everyone has a great day! Prayers sent.

My wife got her last glasses from Costco but does not remember the turn around. It was not an issue.

Agreed. I know I've probably said it many times, but this thread has become my favorite place on the internet.

👍👍

We rent a PO Box. Our Postmistress has well developed forearms due to years of jam packing those boxes. She has no need for steroids:eek:

62°F and 1.24 inches rain. Too wet for the roof. Maybe today? Did pickup pipe fittings to run new propane line and plumb diesel tanks.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

New frames selection has been holding me back from getting my new lenses. I dont like the styles.

Oops: it took a tow truck to winch me out. Right in front of the house. There is a well in front of me, just out of the frame.

Bill- Thanks for sharing. Proof that even with chains and 4WD one can get a tractor stuck in deep snow. It looks like you tried to crab out using your FEL. 100's maybe 1000's of hours of operation w/o any incidents and then getting stuck for an audience.:embarrassed:

I could see that happening here with the drainage ditches along the driveway.
