My main beef with my John Deere equipment is the plastic bodywork.

BUT, I buy used and JD is the predominant brand in my area.

My old F725 mower has some design flaws that makes me scratch my head. It still brings a smile on my face when I mow with it. I wish it had metal ir even fiberglass bodywork.

The 2004, 4310 I recently bought had busted cowl pieces so I bought generic replacement parts. It feels like it will be a good tractor for me but it is light in the rear end. Working on ballast now.

Local dealer has 3025E on sale this month for $15,600 with a loader, seems pretty fair. I'm waiting for a trade value on my SCUT from them. Good luck with you're new tractor.

Sounds like a good price for a 3025E. One thing I like about Deere also is their system for the quick attach bucket. No one else uses it so that's a drawback but it seems so much simpler than the skid steer setup.

Still waiting on there trade offer, I'm a Deere guy at heart, grew up with several of them, Love my little Massey but no dealer support around here for Massey really, to far away and I'm headed to Fl this year and there is a Deere dealer close by. I have two SCUT's, The GC and a 2305 TLB (crazy story why I have both for another time) and am hoping they give me a decent offer for the GC.

Deere is giving me $7000 for my BX2350, rear blade, 60" mmm, and FEL. 760 hours. They were going to give me $7200 for it but I came through with them about a hydraulic leak. I fixed the dead steering issue about 3 years ago. I replaced the center seal in the steering cylinder. Since then it would leak a little bit out the ends of the cylinder when it was really cold. This last weekend the leak got worse. I have the entire kit minus the one seal I did fix so I told him if he wanted to take $200 off my trade in I was good with that, I didn't want them to feel I was trading it in and hiding something. It will just be labor for them to install the new end seals. I actually thought they would start out much lower with my trade, I was expecting $5000.

Being honest about it is well worth $200 IMO.. At least it will be fixed for the next guy so he doesn't think all Kubota's are junk..

Brought home the JD 2025 a couple of days ago. I forgot to get some pics of it side by side with the BX2350.

My first impressions are generally good. Even though the specs don't say so, the loader feels much stronger and is without a doubt much faster. That's also a little bad, since the controls feel much more sensitive. Part of that is the joystick is much shorter.

The drive over autoconnect deck, pretty sweet. I put the deck on my BX before I picked up the JD, didn't time it but probably took 20 minutes but it always seems much longer. Its not difficult, just awkward, getting the driveshaft hooked up being the worst. It took me about 5 minutes to take the deck off the JD and it was the first time I did it. I think it goes on just as quick. Its not a hands free operation though, there are some large cotter like pins you have to put in on each side that lock it in place and you have to set the guide wheels so they aren't locked and let the deck set on the ground, but they are all easy to do, takes maybe 30 seconds.

The JD quick connect bucket is so simple, to me it seems better than the skid stet setup and doesn't seem to take away from the lift capacity in any way. I got pallet forks with the new JD and have switched back and forth a couple of times already. The bad part is not being universal.

The physical size is much bigger, taller, bigger tires. It seems to ride better, but part of that could be a much better seat and its a true suspension seat. I'm going to have to be careful about putting the ROPS down.

A couple of bad things I don't like. To get off the tractor you have to put it in neutral if you want to leave it running, the Kubota I didn't. I got off of it and about had it roll away on me, it smashed a yard light in the process. I will have to get in the habit of setting the parking brake. The Kubota unless I was on a hill I just got off of it and it wouldn't move, even though I probably should have been setting the brake.

The side by side pedals? Probably a wash in my opinion compared to Kubota. Probably a little more comfortable to use but I still catch myself looking down to see which pedal to push. I was in the habit of lifting up on the forward pedal on my BX, which is still catch myself trying to do.

That sounds like a fair deal. There are quit a few incentives on JD's right now also.

I could sell it for more but it's not worth it to me to try and sell it myself IMO and I don't want miss out on incentives, I'll head to the Deere dealer Monday and see what happens, I want to look at them all.

For incentives, unless they were telling me incorrectly, it was cheaper to finance the tractor. I went 5 years at 0% and I think they took $300 off for that. Also something like $500 off for two implements, which the end loader and mower deck counted.
