I've always thought that Justin Wilson, The Cajun, had the best idea. He said the right wine is the one you like. I not only agree, but contrary to what they tell me about most men not caring for sweet wines, I do. I don't drink much wine, but I do keep a jug of Carlo Rossi Sangria or a box of Franzia Sangria on hand.
Exactly, Bird. Drink what tastes best to YOU! All of our body chemistries are different, so we perceive taste differently, too. Mom's boyfriend was partial to Carlo Rossi's offerings, and I enjoyed them as well. I've had some truly awful bottles of fifty dollar wine, and more than a few delightful ones in the four to six dollar range. My favorites taste like strawberry jam, and I don't give a tinker's dam what anyone else thinks about that.
