Wife had a nice birthday really surprised her with her present had no idea and it was a hit. Have had it over a week shipped in by a friend to another friends address so she would not know very covert but notifications are sent to her -phone for everything that ships to the house or cc notifies of purchases so had to be creative on that front as well.

Me and a friend went in 50/50 and bought a J24 sailboat that needed much work. It had gotten loose and they found it hitting the rocky shoreline on Lake Travis in Austin. We hauled it down to Victoria and started sanding, grinding, fiberglassing, etc for a lot of weekends on end. On one of the first weekends, we were buzzing away on it, and his girlfriend drives up. She walks up and seriously says, "YOU COULD HAVE BOUGHT ME A RING!", to which he replied without missing a beat, "I CAN'T RIDE NO RING ACROSS THE LAKE." She jumped back in her car after fuming a few seconds and drove away like her tail was on fire to a fire station....I don't believe they lasted much longer. (We actually got the boat for a song and a dance)

Good evening all. 55F for the start windy and overcast. Wind settles down, drizzle started 11AM, front passage about 4:30 or 5, high temp 57F. Cleaning lady prep started the day, POA recap this morning, nap the work on bike flat and adjust the brakes. and walk the dog. He decided it was too cold and ran home 1/2 way through the walk :laughing:

As for garage doors, pay attention to how well the counter balance spring is working.
Drew, my stepdaughter has worms and they do like coffee grounds, just not exclusively. I think she uses about 1/3 coffee grounds by volume. She doe keep her worms indoors because the summers are too hot and winters are too cold for them here.

Kyle, just had cabbage soup with Cholula's Chipotle sauce, wow that was good. My wife make it with purple cabbage for the unique color, with a few potatoes and a onion and then blended smooth.

PLEASE READ!
I have one garage door opener that will not function properly below around 25-27ｰ, it will come up about two feet and stop. If I hit the button and lift a little, it opens fine. I can稚 find any binding and I have lubricated the tracks and rollers. The doors are not particularly heavy, the openers are Genie chain drive units that were premium units designed for heavier doors. Above 30ｰ it works as well as the other two.
Opinions please.

My Genie unit (screw drive) required special lube on the carrier slide or whatever it is called (the part that runs back and forth that is connected to the door), it was doing exactly what you indicated... I had to clean the lube I had used and put on the special, $10 for little tube stuff.. but it did open fine after that... We have a 18' wide, 8' high door so openers seemed to wear out. The one we have now has a cogged belt.. seems to be lasting.

Heading to the city looking for work today. Will move some hay around and patch up driveway again.

Riptides its really how connected we are as human beings with the internet, our credit card number has been hacked several times so we keep a close eye on it. The gate which stays closed most of the time causes delivery issues so the reason for the notifications of shipments

20 and going to a high of 32°F. Wind ESE 7 mph.
Snow is in the forecast and it is snowing right now.

The guessers are guessing 5 cm/about 2". Every time they tell us how much we are going to get they mix up cm and ". They say 5 cm and I get 5". So far we've got an inch on the ground.
It is coming almost straight down and sure looks pretty.

The young lad and his wife are going to North Bay today, hitching a ride with someone else. Later today it is supposed to get real nasty, so I gave him my visa card and told him to get a motel room, IF it gets to the point where the highway is closed. The cops close the road for fatalities and if two trucks collide.

Plowing is all I am going to be up to today.

Just finished first cup of coffee. Like a 40 degree difference this morning compared to yesterday. 36 right now and may get near 50. Rain is coming today. Going to be a mess with snow melt and rain.....

The pipeline explosion In Ohio Buckeye mentioned is getting a lot of attention in this part of Ohio. Line was installed in 1952.
