You didn't say the footprint of the blocks on the trailer but I see no problem unless theres a high point load. Are you going to have dunnage under the block?
If so use 4x4 or larger and make sure the load is spread over multiple crossmembers.
I know this has a large footprint and a steel deck but it was about 7k lbs, hauled it on a rollback.
