Help...Ford 5610 Battery/Alternator Issues

I have a 5610 that Is giving me battery problems. I can leave it on the charger all day but it still wont start but if I leave the charger on and then jump it off with my pickup at the same time it will start right up. Any ideas? Thanks!

Your battery is junk. With the cables to your truck you are pushing enough amperage across the cables to turn the tractor starter.

Now, go to Rural King and grab up a $49 Exide battery.

The RK entry level, 60 month battery. Assuming it's some typical 12v group number, you should be in luck. What is your battery, top post 12V? If so, look on it for the group size and check the site.
