Drinking second cup of coffee. 31° with fog skies this morning. Heading to 42° with cloudy skies. Got one of the Ring cameras mounted and working yesterday. Plan to get the one for garage up and running today. Need to find 2019 calendars for wife's country hanging frame.

I am impressed with the quality and range of the Ring camera flood light unit. As soon as I figure out how to extract a picture from the video I will post one. I need one additional camera for East end of house. But have not decided what and how yet.

Got latest electric/gas bill yesterday. $225. Honeywell thermostat says furnace ran 191 hours more than same time last year. We did raise thermostat 2° for wifes comfort. I think most of it came from the 10° lower temperatures.

Don, glad you found a group of neighbor Ron's. Good times spent with you on trails.

Looking, cute cat. Sure looks like it is cared for.

LS, Soup. One of our favorite meals. Wife makes it in a slow cooker. Good smells throughout the house while cooking. Only thing that smells better is fresh baked cookies.

PJ, looking forward for the completed guitar.

Drew, get yourself a pair slogger shoes to work in greenhouse. Then 1/2" of water on the floor will not matter. :D

Eric, Looking and Wngsprd, neat fan. Amazon has them.

Prayers for all.

Good Morning All.

40F slight wind looks like the sun might shine mid 40's for high.

Before noon like to have other 1/3 brush trees on brush pile for burning this evening.
The critters have arrive and letting it be known they want breakfast.

Enjoy the day all.

Santa Claus crawls on the floor to help a blind boy with autism feel the Christmas spirit - CNN

I have a really nice Santa suit that I ought to use somehow this Christmas, with the white beard I'm a shoe in.

maybe for my neighbor's young boy but I was thinking more for any kids in the women's shelter.

Tomorrow is the Garden Club Christmas luncheon so i have to dress up a little for that, and surely with a red or green flower or something.
At least I don't have to get my hair and nails done...;) I'm going to ask around there if any charity Santas are needed.

I'm sure the hubbub of Christmas is distressing to autistic kids and older folks too. Hope Ed has a good Christmas and it all comes together in a fun way for him. Watching my old friend seriously messed up from Parkinsons and fighting it like a champ just reminds me to be thankful my own medical issues aren't much worse.

Harrier VTOL style jet flying over house, everything starts to slightly vibrate, those are seriously noisy planes up close. They practice landing at the local unmanned airport and then I guess go back to base. Like a helicopter on steroids.

I get that here with the Ospreys, they spend hours doing maneuvers at this airport, not unmanned but not big city busy.

Figured out how to make a snapshot from a video. Barn door with wheel next to it is 125' from camera. Garage on left is 70' from camera. Pole barn front is about 75'. Lost some clarity converting to snapshot. Anyone got suggestions to do this. I used a program called iDealshare VideoGo 6 on my PC. Need something for iPad.

43° this morning and should see a sunny 63° this afternoon. Forecast is for three days getting to low 70’s and sunny.

The high winds we’ve had last couple of days are supposed to fall off today so .... back to tree trimming today. I gave up yesterday ..... fighting wind gusts.

It’s still way to wet to use tractors / grapples to pick up limbs so ..... we’ll have lots of piles waiting on me.

Still need to mow the 9 acres around house to mulch up all the fallen leaves now that most have fallen. The Gator mulching blades do a good job in chopping up the oak leaves and speed up decomposition by spring.

Hope everyone has a great day today.

Prayers to all.

That's a really sharp photo at those distances. How high is it mounted? (Looks like you have room for a compass star in that patio :) )
