For the last few years depending on time of year and manufacture there has been $10K +/- rebates on the trucks. That $55k truck probably left the lot at $45 +/-.

Not counting the PCO (Private Cash Offer), we got $12K off MSRP on an 2018 F-150 XLT SCab. It is kind of foolish they set MSRP so high, then, when they need to sell, they discount big time.

Then we come to expect the big discounts all the time. They can't win.
Hate to say it but right now IMHO Ram is the prettiest of the bunch with Ford and Toyota tied for second. Man, is the front of that 2500 UGLY!?

If people mostly paid for their trucks in cash (yes, you earn the money and THEN spend it) trucks would not cost what they do. It's easy to jack up the price of something bit by bit when it's just a slight monthly increase. AND, then they go to weekly payment amounts to make it seem even less. I guess, they figure people are as stupid as they are.

The truck was special ordered, not sure what it sold for. Guy traded it in on 1/2 ton, said it was too big.

Hate the grill but overall a nice looking truck. I cannot justify spending 50-60k on a new truck though.
I have a 95 GMC 3/4 ton that I paid $3000 cash for a few years ago. It still pulls like a champ!

If it DOES go to market, some aftermarket company is gonna get rich on more stylish grill options!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I don't like the bar that says Chevrolet on it. But the rest of the truck looks pretty good. And as you said.. the aftermarket is going to have a field day with new grill designs. I'm waiting to see what the GMC looks like. They have had the better design for quite a while now. I have a 2013 GMC because I like the way it looks much better than the Chevy.

I like that much better. I'm not a big fan of chrome though. I think if this grill was all black it would really look great.
