3016 Fuel Filter question

I've tried searching and havent had any luck.
Can anyone tell me if the mahindra 3016 shuttle has a good option for a different brand fuel filter?
If so would you happen to know the part number?
Maybe i'm cheap but $46.00 for a mahindra filter sort of stinks.

I would suggest giving NAPA a try.

If it’s the same fuel injection as a lot of the other Mahindras, it’s a Bosch filter. I haven’t seen it for less than that. That filter is only replaced with a decline in performance. The “pre” filter has a scheduled change interval. That filter is about $10.
At least that is the way the 15xx and 25xx are.

Not sure where you came up with $46.00 for the fuel filter (maybe the complete housing with filter? ), as we sell the Mahindra filter (element) for a 3016 for $11.20

$46.00 is what our local mahindra dealership quoted me. I called NAPA and they have the same filter for $26.00

If you go with Napa make sure you get the :Gold" filter

I picked up the napa filter and it was the gold as you suggested. I won't be able to install it before the weekend, but it sure looks like the factory filter. I want to thank everyone for the suggestions and input.

Wow, I think they must have looked up something wrong as I said maybe the complete housing with filter.

If you ever need more we would be happy to ship some out to you. Make sure when you change the filter dont forget to swap or replace the small o-ring in the center of the filter.
