My Kubota snow thrower has quick disconnect hose for the hydraulics ...with small spiral plastic rings of different colors to mark the positions .... anyone know where these can be purchased ... mine are gone and I'm tired of hooking it up the wrong way every winter :)
Thanks.

I use colored wire tires for hose identification. Inexpensive & readily available.

colored zip ties | eBay.
There's four hoses? If so put a male on the tractor to a corresponding female on the blower and opposite for the other. Best way is to have one long hose on each, that way when you're done, you can couple the couplings together on the blower and on the tractor to keep out dirt..................Mike

When I see colored tie wraps (zip ties) on sale, I buy them just for this purpose.

I was always told that if you dig deep enough you will hit china, so generally a yellow zip tie will go on the bottom. Is that racist?

...I was always told that if you dig deep enough you will hit china...

Not even close...the deepest man made hole (below sea level) ever dug/bored is only a few thousand feet deeper than the deepest naturally occurring spot in the ocean depths...
To dig through earth if it was possible would take a hole one thousand times deeper...

The Aliens that live there (in the hollow Earth) might complain if you suddenly pop out their ceiling.

Anyway, I thought the deepest hole was Mels hole.

Mels hole is a myth...never existed... Art Bell was scammed (more than once)...

Then, where did all the stuff thrown down there go?

That's what I use. If you want the rings, Tractor Supply generally has them. They have them labeled as chicken identification ankle bracelets.

Failing having coloured tie-wraps (zip-ties), I use a corresponding number of 'wraps' on both sides of the connections...

0 (none), 1, 2, 3.

That way, even if the colours fade (or it's dark) you'll reduce the risk of getting it wrong.

Reminds me of some discussions I've had with with religious types. You know I jest?

It annoys me that all those colored dangly bits on our JD have gotten hard as stone. I guess JD is too stupid to know what kind of rubber or plastic can be used in that application.

I have used the colored zip ties but have had a hard time finding ones that are UV resistant. They usually start falling off by the end of the summer.

The colored ones I find are cheap, but I have never had them fall off. It just might be the only thing they are actually good for. Most of my stuff is kept inside.

You could clean up the surface and put a dab of paint on with a marker.

A nearby NAPA or Albert L. Crush or similar place can make a new hose for you.

I used to think I was just a regular person, but I was born white, which now, whether I like it or not, makes me a racist. I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today's standards, make me a fascist. I am heterosexual, which now makes me a homophobe.
I am mostly non-union, which makes me a traitor to the working class and an ally of big business. I was christened by my parents, which now labels me as an infidel.
I am retired, which makes me useless. I think and I reason, therefore I doubt much that the main stream media tells me, which must make me a reactionary.
I am proud of my heritage, which makes me a xenophobe. I value my safety and that of my family and I appreciate the police and the legal system, which makes me a right-wing extremist.
I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.
I (and most of the folks I know), acquired a fair education without student loan debts and little or no debt, which makes me some kind of an odd underachiever.
I believe in the defense and protection of my country and I honour those who served in the Armed Forces, which now makes me a right wing-militant.
Please help me come to terms with the new me... because I'm just not sure who the **** I am anymore!
Funny ...it has all just taken place over the last 7 or 8 years!
As if all this nonsense wasn't enough to deal with.. Now I am not even sure which toilet to go into

Not to steal the thread...You can buy those colored things at Tractor Supply.

And the deepest part of the ocean (Challenger Deep in the Mariana trench) is a little over 36,000' deep...
Which is roughly 7 miles....to bore through the planet at the equator would require a hole over 7 thousand miles...!
