Starting our new life

I paid my builder for the labor cost of constructing my shop last week. In that bill was $1000 for use of his SkyTrak. That was a bargain. Saved me twice or three times that much labor.

Yes, and the picture does not due it justice to how long the runs are. 70' long each. You would think it's for a hotel, but that's what was required.:confused3: I'm just glad it's behind me.:laughing:

The trusses are supposed to be delivered today.:drink: The house should move along pretty quick now.

It's as if the Health department is saying "don't build", we are going to make it as costly as possible. At least you too have it behind you. :thumbsup:

All specifications that I have seen for road construction state inspector can review items multiple times, not one bite at the apple. Also be nice to inspectors they can make life terrible if you have to follow every rule exactly

Found out today the framers will not show up until Monday next week. :banghead: They did say they would stay until the job was finished. :thumbsup:

There was some good today. Rocky Mountain Power showed up to get my power installed. They have the pole in and the main power pulled into the conduit from the pole. Tomorrow they will hook up both ends, install the transformer and pull the power to my house panel.

I have been waiting for the power so I could get my well pump installed and wired up. I'll get that done next week.:thumbsup:
