Hi all, I'm looking to buy a new (or if I can find one, slightly used) t4.75. My problem is our local dealers seem to only be interested in big commercial accounts and don't want to deal with small farm owners. I'm between Nashville and Huntsville and two dealers around Huntsville/Athens have both been around $53k for new t4.75 with 12x12 and loader and no other additions other than standard equipment. I'm hearing of others getting $45-48k. Can anyone suggest a good new holland dealer within a few hr drive of me? I'm in Taft, TN. I heard of another member in NC getting these in the mid 40s. I wouldn't balk at a road trip.

Yes, I'm considering the Kioti 7320, the LS MT573 and Kubota M7060. I haven't looked into Yanmar or Branson yet. I'm looking for a cab, at least 70hp. I prefer the New Holland because I grew up in..... New Holland and my dad designed combines and round balers for them for 40 years.. so It's more a family/nostalga thing with NH.

You could go red;
The Case IH 75 is extremally similar to the T4.75.

The Branson 7845 is not a bad tractor, power shuttle, a couple of rear remotes,
the 8050 is a bit heavier and beefier then the NH or CIH especially in the 3 point area and rear end castings, with the power shuttle and 3 rear remotes and a self leveling loader.

I should also mention I"m getting quoted $46k for M7060 with loader, wider tires, 12x12 and getting quoted $41k for LS MT573 with loader. These are cash prices and do not include tax. The Kubota price doesn't sound great, just not sure on LS.

Thanks Lou, I got price quote on Case and it was same as NH, $53k. I'll look into those Branson models closer. Not sure if I have any good dealers within a hour or so of me though.

I don't think you'll find a Yanmar in that size. When I was looking at them seriously I think the YT359 was as large as they went in the US. There was talk of larger machines so maybe that's come to pass.

I was looking at 75HP machines this spring. Ended up with a Kioti RX7320 Cab with power shuttle. Delivered, 2 rear remotes, loaded tires, block heater and rear-view mirror I paid $39,500, no tax because we're a farm. That also includes one free service/warranty pickup/return. There was a local shop here that had a 2014 T4.75 with 650 hours for $37,500. The differences were: the NH had no warranty, a pre-tier 4 engine (no def/dpf/regen), the additional hours, and a buddy seat option. I opted for the new machine with 6 year/2000 hour warranty and the self-leveling loader. Time will tell if it was a good choice but so far my only complaint (a minor one at the moment) is the cab is a bit louder than I'd like, but i'm hoping that the 50 hour service will trim that a bit.

Thanks Wooly, that's good to know as I think that kioti and the LS mt573 (quoted 41k, loaded tires and delivered) are comparable. I think to make a used t4.75 work for me it would have to be 35k or under. I've had a kioti in the past and liked it.

The NH t4 75 & LS mt573 have large cabs with buddy seats if that matters. I like the bigger cab myself if I upgrade and both of those are on my radar. Might want to consider the Massey 4707 or 4708 also. Big cab and I'm hearing people paying in the high 40's for them.

@TNJOHN1553- the LS wasn't really on my short list; just wasn't able to see it anywhere nearby. The only upsides I could find on the used NH were the engine and buddy seat. The big down side was nearly the same money and no warranty. I think for me it would have had to be closer to $32k. Overall I think the Kioti spec'd out better too regarding lift capacities and bare weight. I'm also learning to like the self-leveling loader but I think the controls on my NH TC45D are smoother than the Kioti.

The MF4700 series sounds really great. There are few newish owners on here. I didn't really look into them when shopping though perhaps should have. I will say my 7320 doesn't leave me wanting much and I've got almost $10k saved over the MF so despite all the niceties of the MF4707 I'm not sure I'd be any better off. The Kioti seems to be a pretty good fit for me so far.

FYI, The T4.75 is now being called the Powerstar 75. The Powerstar has a better radio and I believe they moved the rear wiper control to the side pillar as well. West Hills Tractor in Jonesborough TN has 1 new 2018 Powerstar 75, a 2012 T4.75, a 2014 T4.75 and a 2016 Case Farmall 75C. The Oklahoma dealer is a little bit out there. Used model in Kentucky. HTH.

Last November I was quoted $51,918 for a T4.75 from the local dealer. I really wanted the New Holland because it was the only local tractor dealership, plus the New Holland does not use a DPF. I had the nearest Kubota dealer (130 miles) give me a quote for a comparably equipped M7060HDC12 - $56,700! Both prices are with tax included and with a "discount" for cash.

Thanks guys. I'll call a few of these.

Don't forget CaseNH is currently offering 0% 60 month on these. Something to consider if you are financing since it won't apply to used with the exception of maybe the demo listed.

Mountain farm in Crossville, Tn, if you're wanting a New Holland.

I have a friend that purchased a new T.75 NH last year;many problems and dumped it for a Case 120 and is having his share of problems with that one too.

Chattanooga Tractor sells New Holland. I was recently quoted 40k for Powerstar 75 hp (4wd / no cab). They have a good reputation. May be worth a call.

Here are 2 quotes on a loaded Case 75c, which is identical to NH . They further discounted it to $ 46,000 recently .They also have 0% for 84 months currently. I ended up buying a Massey Ferguson 4707 and love it. Good luck Screenshot_20180909-142846_Messages.jpeg20180909_143325.jpeg

thanks Wbuoni, I went and visited Chattanooga Tractor friday. They had one on the lot, really liked it and Beau was a great help. Their quote was pretty good, going to check a place or new up towards Nashville and HR Agripower near my house.

Bigpuddie, I appreciate you sharing, it sounds like that $46k range is what a good cash price for these... with some negotiation maybe a little lower.
