Increasing width of rear

The only reason I can think of why you may not wish to add to your rear tread width: Particularly using box blades and mowers it is very desirable to have the implement wider than the tread width so your implement will cover your tracks and so you can get closer to the edge of whatever real estate you are grooming.

As I stated in my post. That is why I stopped at 4" of added spacing per wheel. Put me just inside my 60" shredder. No doubt my 2400 is a different critter with wider and weighted rears and 3 pt, when not being used for an implement, different seat, and canopy.

This is a Branson forum, your tractor is a Kubota...different manufacturers, different specifications.

But quoting manual information from a different manufacturer is pretty much useless...it doesn't apply. That's what I was trying to say.

Branson axles are huge and stronger than any other brand. It would surprise me a lot if Branson would refer in the manual not to mess with the tractor's width.

Anyway, here is a picture from the F/15 series manual showing the options to get the tractor wider. I have a Operators Manual for the 20 series that my dealer give me by mistake instead of the F series but I don't have it with me at the moment. However it's pretty much the same apart from the dimensions it will get.
