Okay now, there are two dogs in that picture

When I look at that pic, I honestly have no clue where the picture was taken.

The second dog looks to be my "ba ba's" poodle, Snowball. That said, the picture wasn't taken at my grandmothers house (where we lived for a short time after my father retired from the Military). Do know that the furniture in the back was from the Phillipines, and the I remember the real to real tape player up against the wall as I used to listen to Perry Como, The Four Freshmen, The Mills Brothers and a host of "older music" growing up as a teen on that music system.

My best guest is the pic was taken at Lockkbourne Air Force base in Ohio. I'm guessing my grandmother (from Pennsylvania) came to visit, and my mom drove her being it would be less than a 10 hour drive.

Same dog, about 10 years later. Same "old" house I just brought my dad down from... Have to laugh, that old TV is long gone, but dad has a newer stereo system sitting on the lobster trap.

That was a great cat. That cat was like a dog following me in the woods. Anywhere I went outside, that cat was by my side. Cried like a baby just as much for that cat as I did Mickey when it was their time to go forever.

Every kid should have some great pets growing up IMO.

RIP to my son's K9 partner, Kilo. At 12yrs old he had to put him down for medical reasons.

Big, scary and yet a teddy bear. This photo with his little brother was taken years ago and the other with my grandson.

As I posted back in April, our miniature Dachshund Sadie pass away. Seems like our house has been empty ever since. I sure miss my buddy. We have decided it is time for another dog so we have a new miniature Dachshund puppy. Her name is Rose.

It takes a while some times but they will soon accept each other. Love his colours!.

I mentioned in an earlier post that we took over a little Chinese Crested Hairy Hairless a few months ago. The woman couldn't/didn't want to keep him and was going to take him to the pound.
Cost a fortune to get his teeth fixed but he is such a character.
He has the loudest bark of any dog we have ever had and the most WOEFUL greeting? sound that is like a tortured cat.
Here is a little video taken when my wife came home late one evening and I might say, this is tame to some of his performances. Video is a bit dark but you get the idea. LOL

We have three dogs.

Indiana Bones is the lou... er.. the watchdog "Chorky".. Chihuahua / Yorky mix.

Maple is a rescue Chocolate Lab we got a t the same time as our young one, "Tribby".. aka Tribute. Sh, (Tribby) is named for my father and the breeder that raised these dogs for a LOT of years.

I've got 2 German Shepherds, Kolt & Daisy. Born on the same day one year apart. They'll be 9&10 this December. Great dogs..I enjoy them everyday and I'll really miss them when they're gone. Pics in order; Kolt and Daisy this summer and Daisy wanting her ball back from Kolt..winter 2010.
