Any one have an electric copy of the service manual for a X485 they would be willing to share?

I've got the printed version, Tech Manual TM2023, X465,475,575, and 585, that I'll sell for $25 plus shipping. Got it along with my X475 way back when; unit didn't run well when cold soaked below 5 degrees and Deere couldn't figure it out, so I didn't have it long. I attached a pic. An option if you don't find the electronic version.

Don't really need it right now just would like to have it just in case. Only has 370hrs but I just changes the trans oil since it was probably original.

Does the service manual have anything on adjustments to the forward and reverse pedals on the x485. Sometimes when I hold the brake pedal all the way down to start the engine, it feels like it is in gear, a vibration in the brake pedal. And are you still willing to sell the manual?

Though a manual is a great thing to have, you may learn what you need to know from pulling the deck and inspecting the driveline. Does it want to lunge or is it the vibration really you are after? Roll the idler pulleys around to inspect for flat spots on them and the belt as well. A stick in the transaxle cooling fan will raise all kind of heck.

No transaxle cooling fan on the X485 ;)
But doing what tomplum suggests with the deck off, the forward / reverse pedals and the brake pedal may show something out of adjustment.

Do you know how to make adjustments to the pedals?

x485 is shaft drive not belt drive

Do you know how to make adjustments to the pedals?

First make sure the pedals are free, no binding of the linkage.

Then I would adjust the neutral (only if tractor creeps without a pedal being pushed). There is a nut on the right side of the transaxle (key 20). Loosen it to turn the key 23, which is an eccentric.

To do the above adjustment, you have to have the rear wheels off the ground, free to turn, on jack stands. Jumper the seat switch, and have the engine idling. If the wheels are turning, loosen nut 20 and turn 23 until wheels stop rotating, then tighten nut 20

Sorry, I do not.. so far have not had to contend with that problem.

May be a good time to get the service tech manual for your x485. Could be very cost effective if it saves but just one trip to the dealer.

Yeah I probably should have bought the manual but I like the electronic ones and don't have any issues now.
