No forward with HST pedal

While traveling on the road I turned off cruise and pedal didn't return, finally used reverse pedal to get stopped. Forward just rests on the floor but can [pull up on the reverse to move forward. If I pull up on forward it does pull the reverse pedal down. Any ideas?

Crawl under there and look for a pin possibly missing. That happened to me on my first tractor. I put one of those circular key retainers back in place of the pin.

I think Ralph is on the right track. Sounds like using cruise control allowed slack in the linkage and let a pin to fall out.

Spring pin appears to be intact. When I pull up on the pedal it does pull the reverse down.

Turned out to be the spring pin was in 3 pieces and had enough of a spur to catch when pulling up! Thanks for your response.
