Don't bang your leg Buppies...hope that's healing well.

Well I'm a happy camper. I didn't think I could get the potato plow to work on the little Massey using a standard small as they are made Cat 1 toplink.
My neighbor the fireman looked at it with me this afternoon after I reassembled it with new bolts and basically it was not sure, but I think you should try it.
We did and it sucked right down to the proper level and didn't slice one potato. :dance1:
Surprised it did as well as it did actually after three inches of rain last night.

Never done this before with a potato plow, didn't want to make a complete rear end of myself in front
of a group of guys Sat morning. And now I don't have to take the mower off the Kubota so that saved me a ton of work.

And then my knowledgeable neighbor started using something I thought was a garden weeder but
lo and behold it was actually a potato fork, like a metal hand on a pole. So I have a big pitchfork, a small one, and a potato fork.
Other than that you have to just dig your hands into the soil, this is sandy enough if moisture present to do that without
too much effort. It really feels nice pulling the potatoes out of the soil, as the soil falls away and a line of potatoes present themselves.
And if potatoes could talk, they'd be saying we're ready Boss...

Good job Drew
Bet as a welding project you rig up a rack that let the dirt fall thru and deposit the potatoes on top.

This is how my evening went. The axle broke on the husqvarna mower. Used kubota to tow it into the barn..

coffee is perking (now there's a term that will go out of use...) and unlike L4N I'm up for the day.
Accuwrong says 2.28 inches of rain, I bet the rain gauge says close to 4 inches. And more showers floating around, going
to be wet and muddy out there. Headed out to pick peas at daylight, then this morning downtown to deliver the veggies to food bank.

got a call last night from one of the two ladies who came to "inspect" from the Garden Club. She is a little older than me, but quite youthful, frankly younger acting than me creaking around. She thought we should have dinner some time...well. ;)
It's been a long time...
I might need to call Toppop for some advice.
She's pretty, smart, classy and not indigent. I probably should pay attention...

Drew, I have to say I'm surprised it took this long. But considering your new to the area and such.... 1 day at a time. Be yourself

The low was 40* this morning. Today is going to be in the high 60' with what a chance of showers this afternoon.

My wife didn't make it to Colorado last Friday, she tripped on the gas hose when she was getting gas and broke the right shoulder. She is down in SLC at our daughters place. She has a Dr appointment tomorrow to set up a surgery date to replace the shoulder joint. I had to come back to house get something's. I'm going back down today, I don't know how long we'll be down there

I won't be posting but I'll try to looking in and see what's going on. I really like to see what everyone one is up to and the weather around the country.

I hope everyone stays safe and healthy.
CWB.

Oh my, sounds like a lot of pain. Prayers for healing.

So I coaxed my 12 year old daughter into helping with the spaghetti sauce.

I have a new found respect for a $2.50 jar of spaghetti sauce. that was a lot of work.

Kyle, no need to peel the tomatoes. The highest concentration of vitamin C is in the skin.
