Good morning!!!!

I've never read about any bad interactions between Geritol and "little blue pills."

well since I've never taken either...considering how hard I work all day I can probably do without the Geritol.
Perhaps lunch dates so I don't fall asleep at the dinner table...:D

And now my THA (thyroid) is getting higher, which means not enough being produced, but you would think since they took half of it out
two years ago, my thyroid level would be down (number goes up) naturally, even if they say I can live just fine on half a thyroid.
But it makes you tired...

Bottom line is enough other medical issues I don't need to stroke out adding more chemicals to my body.
Besides...it's not whether things work, it's how well they work. Like a well preserved engine in your New Gen JD... :tractor:

Well, I must have had something to offer if three women wanted to marry me.
However the Good Lord blessed me with a good mind and not much else.
It's all in the mind...thankfully.
And I for sure am old enough to know friends first.
After all, I am a Friend and I have a lifetime of experience knowing what real friends are.
There are givers and there are takers in this world.
I need to find another giver. Not so easy.

Drew; why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?
Maybe you need some popsicle sticks instead of a 'little blue pill.

A quote from Nippsy Russel; Love is blind. Marriage is an institution. What some of you pick for wives, you belong in an institution for the blind.:D

Good morning! 74˚ clear skies, light south wind heading to the high nineties agin today. Blue pills, Geritol, oh my, this is really turning into a geriatric group.

The yard was a dust storm yesterday evening while mowing. I need to start wearing goggles and dust mast, but that just makes everything hotter. The EGO blower came in handy by cleaning the mower and me after mowing.

Good Morning!!!! 74F @ 5:00AM. Sunny to partly cloudy. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High near 90F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

It was a warm day yesterday, almost too warm to spend much time on the patio BBQing or relaxing. It's already into the 70s this early, so today looks to be even warmer:eek:

No surprise at least one interested lady would be found in that garden club, Drew. Just make sure she's not a cougar. Then again, maybe a spring fling would be good for you?

Hopefully Eric takes his camera with him today and we get to see the sheep being fleeced.

Speaking of surprises, it should not have been one that the battery in the big dirt bike was dead when I went to crank the engine after an oil change. It's the oldest battery in the fleet, and this is the second time I remember it going flat from sitting. Just as well, as now I can move the battery from the touring bike to the dirt bike and it'll continue to get regular use over the summer. So that's on today's agenda, along with changing the back tire and ordering a new one for the front. Checking the Airhead's event schedule got me another week to prepare for the ride south, and I plan to make the most of it.

L4N, you're right. I call it the two birdies. The one on one shoulder is the retired financial planner
who overthinks most everything and is very conservative; and the other birdy is the let's wing it and try it birdy.
After five years since my wife passed, I'm ready to get airborne again.
I'll just try not to fly too close to the Sun...:D

I got the most marvelous picture by email a few minutes ago from my next older brother,
taken at the Memorial Day parade in Doylestown, PA, the county seat of Bucks Co., extreme Eastern end of PA.
The town where my Mother practiced law and clerked for two judges in that courthouse, the courthouse which this
tractor passed.

It's a special John Deere B. It's the one I grew up with.
Bought from my brother when he moved off Rockwood Farm, now owned by a local farmer
who just loves to drive it in parades.

All the hours I spent on that tractor. Bush hogging the 30+ acres of fields, sometimes plowing or discing. My parents were lawyers but the land was farmed
and I grew up on this old girl. Hand clutch, pucka pucka pucka.
Snow plow in front with manual hydraulics, I plowed out the neighborhood for many years with this tractor.
Earned some good money too.
Until I hit a stump on a neighbor's property and broke the plow, putting it out of commission which was not good at all.
Though when fixed I continued to plow the 1/3 mile long gravel driveway with this tractor.
No diff lock so you sure learned to use both brakes in a hurry.

Like all these old tractors, very physical to operate. Modern tractors are seriously more comfortable to run.
Safer too...

I think this was a 1939, 12V electric start, rubber tires, bought in unknown circumstances when my Grandfather bought our farm
in New Hope PA in 1940. Have a vision of him wearing his floppy cap and giving the tires of that JD a whack with his cane, see if it
held up...his version of kicking the tires. I doubt he ever personally ran the tractor, had lung issues from smoking and was in declining health.

It delights me to see the tractor continue to pucka pucka pucka down the road.

One reaps more from giving than taking. I hope that you find that "keeper" giver and a BFF.

I hope that everyone's Memorial Day and weekend went as anticipated.

Ted- Good luck on your first day back to work.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

One CoCoRaHS rain reporter got 7.69 inches 6 miles SW of Roanoke.
Note to self, don't go there after the blue discussion.....

68°, got more wet stuff overnight.

Ellicott city is on the old national pike. Lot of history, and frequently flooded, even in it's early history.

70 degrees early this morning, going for a high of 97 today, and maybe hit 100 before the week is over, and no rain in the forecast for the foreseeable future. I noticed a couple of neighbors with their lawn sprinklers going yesterday, so I got mine going this morning.

The low was 40* this morning. Today is going to be in the high 60' with what a chance of showers this afternoon.

My wife didn't make it to Colorado last Friday, she tripped on the gas hose when she was getting gas and broke the right shoulder. She is down in SLC at our daughters place. She has a Dr appointment tomorrow to set up a surgery date to replace the shoulder joint. I had to come back to house get something's. I'm going back down today, I don't know how long we'll be down there

I won't be posting but I'll try to looking in and see what's going on. I really like to see what everyone one is up to and the weather around the country.

I hope everyone stays safe and healthy.
CWB.
