I believe that Brogen is now 152 pounds with that now empty hanging change purse. He's in pretty decent shape considering his ordeal. No collar nor cone is needed at this point.

Randy- I am glad to read that Ellen is "ok."

Losing the jewels could definitely reduce the "drama."

Our very first boxer was a white male. Being white, AKC didn’t recognize for breeding even though fully pedigreed. When age appropriate, off to the Vet for his mod. Several months later on a subsequent visit, wife queried the Vet as to the “calming” effect of the previous procedure. Vet’s reply was not to expect instant results especially with a boxer, maybe years. Wife sarcastically suggested maybe he should undo his work if not seeing all the effect. While never aggressive that boy was boxer active all his days.
Happy healing Brogen

David- Boxer's are magnificent dogs. One of our friends had a boxer. We loved that dog. She was selective of whom she liked; she liked us. Brogen and I both thank you. Based on past experiences I believe that effects of male neutering is more apparent with humans than canines. Testosterone has staying power; I do not anticipate much change if any for awhile. Brogen is 3 y.o. and he is behaving like a 3 y.o. dog. Saint B's start slowing down activity-wise pretty early, but not at 3. He is definitely people friendly. Our concerns are his canine sociability. He was videoed getting along with other St. B.'s. He went from play to prey mode in the reception area with a little fluffy dog at the last vet visit. The other dog's owner's reaction to Brogen may have triggered what happened. I can redirect Brogen with a choke chain/leash pretty well. He really does not pull with me on the leash. Sadly I appear to be the only one so far. I really do not think that this dog was ever really or consistently walked. Wifey successfully walked him around the field for the first time the other day. We will seek some professional guidance for the canine socialization part of his training. The vets are comfortable with how we are managing the atrophied jaw muscles. We'll see.

Finding the cow wasn't hard BEF. As to where you were, my WAG is at a steak house.

txdon, the cow is on the blue tarp on the second floor (assuming the ground floor is the first floor). Lower left of the pic.
