Ya she has never been used this hard her whole life. I changed the oil today and going to get the transmission serviced Monday.
There are a couple steep pulls getting to our new home, bout 40 MPH is all I get. Of coarse its a twisty canyon road. Next week I'll take the tractor. With the ballast box I figure it's about 10,000 pounds. I will be going slow up the summits with that load.:eek:

Will be following your new adventure. Always admired the valley you are moving from and your snow sledding pictures. Be safe with the tractor when you head up the road

Lynn, I may have asked this before and forgotten, how many miles are you moving?

Have a good weekend!!!

Richard I think it's about 175 miles or so. Or about 90 bucks in diesel.:eek: Good thing I worked for a refiner and get my fuel for free. LOL

When I go sledding now it cost about 75 bucks in diesel. Where I'm going it'll cost 1 gallon to the parking lot, if I don't go right from my house.:)

Really looking forward to that.

Question for all;
When trailering a tractor, would you use chains to tie it down or the ratcheting type straps? All I have now is the straps.

I'm shocked, surprised and excited for you. After all you did with your barn, and your pasture, I figured you where there for good.

I've thought about moving to the mountains off and on, but then when we go there, we notice all the little things that we don't want to deal with, and appreciate where we are already. Then after a year or two, the mountains start to sound good again, and the cycle continues. I doubt that it will ever happen, we get more attached to where we are now every year.

I'm looking forward to following your progress and see what you create!!!!
