Wish I were your neighbor. I'd gladly jump in with my truck/GN and make trips with you. What an adventure!!!!

I'm lucky, my brothers ranch has 3 different living facilities on it. So I have a place ready to move in. My land is 7 miles away from his place.

I love the place we're going to. It is only 5-10 minutes from the Cache National Forest. You know how I love to ride my snow machine!! I can ride right from my place and be in deep powder in no time at all.

Congrats on the move! I will be looking forward to seeing the pics of your new build and the area around it, never been to that area of Idaho.

Great fortune for your upcoming life exchange Cat. Build your new house with energy efficiency in mind. Big insulation stats, careful sealing, small windows, solar gain, etc. Do it right and you can heat each room with a light bulb. (well, with l.e.ds, that's tougher to do these days).

Thought I'd bump the thread;
Not much going on other than moving. At this point I have all the firewood moved and all the farm equipment moved. The hay and small tools will go next. All the house stuff is boxed and ready. Getting all the out buildings empty will seem like a great victory. :laughing: I am leaving the tractor until last in case I need to lift heavy stuff up on the trailer.
I took my two calves up yesterday. I'm sure they thought they had died and went to cow heaven. Lots and lots of land and about 75 other cows to hang with. :thumbsup:

We did get through the house inspection and appraisal good. A couple very minor things that I fixed the next day. So as far as the house goes we are just waiting for the closing date. May 10th I think.

MacLawn, wait till I get the guest house done and you'll have a place to stay. Hopefully within a year or two after we get our house built.:)

Here's the last load of hay that I'll be taking up tomorrow. The hay barn is now clean and empty.
