I kinda caught the end of the story, but I thought they said there were multiple volcanos active in Australia now and I believe they said six eruptions in the last 3 years??

Hoping our Mates will give us an accurate report!!!! Hope it hasn't affected any of them!!!

Nah, it's all Indonesia.

The only thing erupting down here is Federal & State politics... Tassie is in the grips of a State election. 12 days to go!

The missile? No way, I'm on an island in the Caribbean, you know, over by China, (generally speaking...). You know, if we don't count mileage in the calculation....

We have a lot of inactive volcanoes, looking out the window, no, no lava flowing past, all good.
Bali has had a few eruptions of late disrupting flights and tourism, that could be classed as Australia as the Australian population can probably outnumber the natives during holiday season.

Friend? After reading one of your posts about shopping where she shops and you sleep in the car I thought we were related:D

We might be. Ya never know......

I like you guys. You are honest, direct and sincere. I question whether you guys are a good stick of the general population. But that doesn't matter. :D

I don't think Ozz has any active volcanos. Over here in NZ we have quite a few. Nearest one to me is 60 miles away. Auckland city is built on 8 or 12 "dormant" craters. Not yet classed as extinct. last one there blew up about 400 years ago.

I understand that there are 3 very active as we speak in Indonesia. I was caught up in the St. Helens eruption heading back on I-90 when she blew. Stranded us for 5 days in Ritzville WA. Misses some college final exams. The good part was cute teen working at the fall out shelter. She invited us to stay at her parent's beautiful home. We had great farm wife cooking and fresh breads every morning and played cards with beer into the late evening. Otherwise we would have been camping out on a gymnasium floor with a slew of other homeless. As I recall, the town of Ritzville swelled to more than double its size that fateful Sunday.

The eruptions article was probably reported by the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), hence the mistake in location.

As to campaign calls on your mobile (cell) phone... I have no idea why Tasmanian political parties would be targeting people in Missouri. :confused3:

Anything for a vote, and I remember many years ago when I was there I heard the then premier (I think it was Bethune) talking about the Police and their integrity in Tasmania 'we have the best Police Force money can buy'.
Wise words from our fearless leaders.
