Super tall pickup beds

Several members have mentioned flatbeds, that seems like the perfect option. Little side story on that...2 years ago I was looking at a couple of wheel well rot holes on my F350, only on the passenger side. That was when I noticed how rusted out my bed floor rails were!
That day I priced out aluminum flatbeds, seemed like $2500 is more or less what they run. I would have pulled the trigger but, lucky me, at that time I had a abscessed tooth and had to get a $2,800 root canal.
So I got the root canal and redid my floor rails and patched the rot holes and some floor holes for about $400 and my labor. It came out fairly decent actually.

Yep I agree. After getting married we lived “in town” for years as we saved for property in a rural area. 17k population, and we had a rare 1/2 acre lot, but it was city to us. Now after living outside of town for 15 years neither of us could imagine moving back to that “big city”. I had pickups in both places, but smaller trucks when in town.
I like the larger taller boxes of newer trucks. But I can’t hop into them as easy as the old styles.

It's hard to imagine living in town, haven't since I got married & moved out from Mom & Dad's. It seems 20 miles to a Walmart or HD is just about the minimum distance (away) for me.

130 miles from Wal-Mart and Home Depot. I still think that is to close. Have you ever seen the people of Wal-Mart? Resemble something out of Deliverance or Rocky Horror Picture Show! Skerd!
You need to add a disclaimer. Don't watch the people of Walmart if you are eating or have a bad heart.
Could also cause Blindness! Only good thing about it is that it makes you feel better about yourself.
