One of the vintage motorcycle groups I watch on FB had a post about repairing pot (white) metal carburetor bodies with Muggy Weld Super Alloy #1. I've tried fixing broken bosses and stripped threads before, and never had any luck with soldering or epoxy. This guys carb body would have cost him $650 to replace, but he was able to soft solder the holes up and grind them back to the correct profile. Just curious of any of you folks have used this stuff, and if you have, how did it work for you. Especially interested in how it held up over time.
