Here we have a chain called PASCO, a friend of mine, David Brown owns them, his parents owned DEMCO, Delmarva Electric Motor Company, started as rewinders, Dave started as a rebuilder and still will if you have something special. They have locations all over the Eastern Shore, but I don稚 think theyæ±*e across the Bay. He rebuilt a special alternator for my Donzi on a Sunday morning once, so 5-6 of us could take our boats over to Solomonç—´ Island that afternoon.

Ed- Thanks for the + vacation wishes. Two more stops and it's back to the ice and snow of NE. Although it appears that southern NE had a lot of rain during our absence.

It's really difficult to find a "Dr" who really understands geriatrics or mental status. IM"H"O NP's are a better "fit" for this "stuff."

Good luck with finding a new and geriatric-competent Dr.

From my +15 years doing geriatric psychodiagnostic assessments I did not see many Dr.'s who really understood the aging process until it happened to themselves. They really do not teach this stuff in medical school. What may apply "medically/pharmacology-wise" to the "average" non-elderly individual really does not always apply to the sick and elderly. It's a "specialty."

When it comes to aging and sickness we are all on this trip together, and it is not always pretty.

Buppies- Thanks and thanks for the weather information. I can follow it from here, but I am not experiencing it (yet) as you and others.

Toppop, Buppies, RIP, DABSGT, Ed, and Bird- You are all a special breed of person. I probably am missing a couple of other heroes here and I do apologize for any lapses in acknowledging the special human/caring things you all do, but I am new here and am still picking up on all the life stories. I know that I am missing a couple of frequent fliers here at this point who also need to be acknowledged for what they do and who they care for.

Good evening all. High today was 54F at about 3:30 AM, then temps dropped like a stone. Overcast sky this morning, and brisk north wind and temp at 34F. Low so far was at about 10:30 AM, intermittent drizzle and fog throughout the day. With 34F and wet roads I was a no show to the biking group, just fed the WBS and went to town with wife to run errands.

12 below zero going to a high of 18 Wind E 7 mph and snow in the forecast for today and tonight.

I am ready for it. Driveway scraped down to the ice and tractor fueled and greased.

I took a peek at the weather on Friday evening for Toronto and by the time this system passes they could get 10". That is a good thing, keep those city idiots down there.

Ed- That doctor is not a doctor.. I've dealt with far too many M-dieties in my professional life. A lot of medical personnel "kiss off" the elderly, but they'll still take their money for their "services"
