Thanks guys. When I watched it, it came across as very profound, inspired, and crafted by a poetic genius. I play a little guitar and have done some entertaining, but there is something inexplicable about the lyrics, the meaning and the delivery that defies explanation. Nothing short of amazing.

I have the American Pie album on vinyl. Don McLean is genius. Why did he write Vincent? His songs are very deep.

Just read that Pat Torpey, drummer for Mr. Big, died this week from complications of Parkinson's disease. Met him once after a Mr. Big show at Mississippi Nights in St. Louis. Super nice guy.

No kidding. I had older brothers so I went from hearing polkas in the house when I was little directly to the Beatles and subsequently have a pretty wide taste in music, bands etc. There is good and great music in every genre, and not discounting the talent before them or since, but IMO it's the Beatles then everyone else.

Kyle, I have an original Sgt. Pepper vinyl album. Bought a CD a few years later and almost wore it out. Please let us know more the re-release. This is still one of my favorites.

Sgt Pepper's is still one of my favorite rock albums. Just ground-breaking stuff for it's time, and still sounds great today. Love The Beatles in general, but that one will always be my favorite. My first copy was on an 8-track.
