21F and snowing. Was around 1" already on the ground, looks like we got around another 3" - 4" overnight.

We are under a winter weather advisory until 16:00 today. Those to the south and east are under a winter storm watch.

Looks today will be a paperwork day.

Drinking second cup of coffee. 15° with snow this morning. Heading to 22° with snow until afternoon. Not a good day at doctors office. Data collected for wife's sleep test was lost. Good news is she is going to spend a night at their sleep center next week. She needs some personal help to get this done. Great doctor who is very a where of what my wife is dealing with. Going to have to work on cleaning snow off walkway and driveway. Got my 12 volt Pulse Charger yesterday. Going to hook it up to tractor.

Drew, as a RV owner I kind of agree with new owner of RV. Go out and use it. Bought my MH in AZ and drove it over 2000 miles home. Leaner more on the trip then any other time while owning it. When I sold my RV. Buyer brought a Bank Check. My credit union had no problem with depositing into my account. After calling buyers bank to verify check. Never heard of a bank check before.

Irv, good idea on hoisting can up with a lift. I have a engine hoist that should work.

Ed, you have a tough job ahead. Dealing with someone that is developing Dementia will be tough for all evolved. My mothers started with a UTI and got worse with every UTI after that. Every time she had a UTI you would see a big personalty change until the UTI was cured. Then back to normal. You may want to have her checked if she is having personalty changes. Prayers for your mother, you and your family.

29° and freezing rain. Schools closed, lots of accident reports.

My mom had dementia her last few yrs, and was bed ridden her last couple. My dad took care of my mom until she passed almost 2 yrs now. Was a full time job, both in their 90s.

Slept in my bed, 2nd time since my surgery in nov. Other than my back hurting some yet, ive been feeling like new again with respect to my surgery.

29 degrees this morning going for a high of 45. We got a fairly brief heavy rain yesterday evening before dark and this morning I found about .48" or .49" frozen in the rain gauge. The Denton Airport, 10 miles from here, shows to have only gotten .03" around 6 p.m. yesterday.

I was thinking that last night. There are so many fraudulent cashier痴 checks these days.

That's what we did for the last car I sold. I actually expected cash from the bank teller, but he came back with some excuse that they didn't have enough on hand. Very surprising that a bank wouldn't have $17.5K in the vault, but there it is. I'd much have preferred there be no record of where the buyer's money went. If there's a next time, you can bet the buyer will be advised to make arrangements with his bank to have enough currency on hand to cover the transaction. Otherwise, no deal.

Glad I changed my oil in the truck yesterday. Was damp on the ground, but a pleasant day for February. I'm still struggling with the little plastic piece to insert into the filter housing drain hole...just can't get it all the way in, so makes a small mess. I guess these filters are better, but the spin on filters were sure a lot easier.

Took Coconino hiking in the battlefield park yesdterday...the river is way up compared to normal, and fast flowing, so no swim time, just a bit of stick fetch on the rocks.

Lightning hit a barndominium down the road but our neighboring fire station was closer so they got the run.

I need to see if the stump fill has settled after this rain.
