Nasty day outside. Had to take wife to get one of her fearing aids repaired. Everything is covered with ice.

Had to take my wife to a doctor's appointment, but if was a beautiful sunny day, but 37 degrees with a north breeze at the time.

Good evening guys, was up to 66 today, down to 60 now. Low of 31 and a wintry mix tonight. Enjoyed the nice temp today, took a 2 hr nap and hardly went out at all.:)

Lew, thanks for the video, doesn't look like a fun place in winter. to steep.

RIP, praying things are going well.

Prayers for you guys, Ed

303 is fine on leather, but the absolute best thing to keep leather soft and natural looking for years is Nivea unscented lotion, if it is good for your skin, it is good for leather. As I said, I started using 303 on boats in the mid 1980s because it has far superior UV blocking vs Armor All or almost any other protectant. If your leather is cracked a good fix is pre softened shoe paste, available in almost any color. Rub it in thoroughly let it dry, rub it out with white terry until no color shows, after a month start the Nivea.

Amazon.com: novus plastic polish

#2 will work great on that. Get you a terrry cloth pad you can run in your cordless drill. Smear a bit over maybe a square foot and go to town with the buffing pad. Stand back, drinking a Shiner Bock and be amazed at your handiwork. :) You don't even need #1, it has zero grit or fines and only cleans.

Thanks Kyle, I’ll give it a try. Does it work with Jack Daniel’s?

I thought I was just mentally ill

I am not one to judge.

Inpatients used to tell me that if they used to act as I, they would have their medications increased. I agreed with them. Their problem was getting caught. I have not (yet).

People who think that they are "crazy" usually are not. Professionally, I was always worried about the self-proclaimed "perfectly sane" individuals with whom I had to deal, and some "psychiatrists."

If anyone here ever wants a nice break from the demands of daily living, 3 "hots" and a cot, a "soothing" pastel (puke) colored environment, and free entertainment with episodic daily floorshows from those "free spirits" who suddenly feel "liberated," I have the secret "mantra" to give you all the "vacation time" necessary. All one needs to do is to confide "certain statements" with the admitting "professionals." Later, if one is "well behaved" they can get "grounds privileges."

I survived the "kultural" experience. "Darkest Hour" is a decent movie. 45F and raining here

I know three psychologists and 2 psychiatrists I like 3 of the 5, but they are all certifiably crazy!:D
Some were customers, some I met through wife’s acquaintances.

Toppop52- Now you know 3.5. I am retired. I always thought that one had to be crazy to get into the field. After +30 years in the field, I still believe that one needs to be "crazy" as a requirement for hire in the human social "services."

Nice ... looks like a very well maintained tank ...

Looks like you have some java moss growing in there (left side) ... are the rest of the plants live ... or a mix of live and artificial ?

all live plants seem to need trimming about once a week, the big guy hides in the back of the plants in the center
and comes out at night.

Rick just a suggestion for your plastic, I have used "Wipe New" as seen on TV on the plastic on my Chevy Avalanche it works very good and lasts yes even with driving through the car wash, sitting in the sun and covered with snow and ice. It has lasted about 2 years applying twice in the last 4 years.

Sent from my iPad using TractorByNet

Thanks. I need to first remove very fine scratches. They’re so fine that the finish is just “dull” from almost 10 years of use.

I think the product your recommending might work well once I’ve got it shined up.

Remember that snowplow drivers are as low as some brown stuff on the bottom of your shoe and don't deserve any gifts. A snakes belly button is higher on the pole of life than a snow plow driver. This is in the councilors eyes, not mine.

I wouldn't have asked, just go ahead and do. It is easier to ask forgiveness than to ask for permission.

I agree 100%...although our plow guy isn't so good. Town owes me a mailbox due to him...and on more then one occasion, our cul-de-sac was cleared by me... Most of the time, I have to clear out where he plowed in ours or my neighbor's mail boxes. But, if your guy is good...give him the gift....after all, what's the town going to do...sue you? Petty A-Holes!

Home, Sweet Home!!
Crappy drive from CT. The fog was quite dense in Massachusetts and most of southern Vermont. The further north, not as bad but there were occasional patches that reduced visibility to zilch

Went in to office this afternoon. They were glad to see me. Was very uncomfortable driving. Over an hr each way. First time driving since my surgery.

Something making me break out with itchy bumps. think Its one of my meds. Been taking them for yrs, so not sure why this is suddenly happening.

   / Good morning!!!! #67,915
Roy- I am glad that you made it home safely in all the fog. I am assuming that you traveled home via 91N. The CT river valley is historically a fog trap. It is nasty here in the Berkshire Hills presently even at higher elevations.

Buckeyefarmer- If there are any new meds in your "mix" you could be having a bad med interaction. I hope that it resolves soon.

DABSGT- I meet the criteria.

Nothing is new, started last night, again tonight after taking meds. Tonight i only took 2 meds and it happened. Tomorrow will do only one at a time. Been taking these meds for yrs.

Growing well then ...

I have never had much luck with red plants ... probably using the wrong color spectrum bulbs or something.

the big guy hides in the back of the plants in the center and comes out at night.
What kind is he again ?

Good evening all. 20F this morning, windy still and clear. Warmed up to 44F, wind kicked up some more, and sky mostly clear all day. WBS monitor again, did not start bike ride till 2PM, warm up was slow till 1PM.

Good morning all.

jb, I've been reasonably well behaved so please can I have "ground privileges" this morning ?

I need those privileges to get out and clean up a couple of trees I dropped over my boundary into a neighbors field yesterday. He's a nice man and would like more sunlight through for when he turns his side over to arable cropping. That's understandable and I'm not complaining (at least my head isn't, though my back may be later) as I get a good supply of firewood.
