Added a hydraulic toplink to my box scraper to lift the front edge to skim over gravel driveways without tearing but smoothing for a starter base, worked great on this first snow fall of 7?

I am wishing it will work as good when I install the snow blower too.

I do the same thing with my box blade. Using the rear blade as a “gauge” works really well. I love the smooth finish it gives with no tire tracks behind!

I go back and forth between using my rear blade and box blade for snows. It usually depends on what’s already on the back, and how much snow is on the ground.

Finally got around to getting a pipe on my blade for plowing. The hope is that I don't move so much gravel when I plow snow. I had it made at a local welding shop. They suggested putting the bolts on each end to pinch the pipe and help hold it in place. It also has two short lengths of chain welded on the pipe to chain it to the top of the blade. Just got it back today so I haven't used it. Looks like snow tonight and the next few days so I'll see how it works on the gravel.

That looks great!

Beautiful setup Matt. May I ask what the plow is worth.

the plow cost about $5000. i have it wired like it would be on a truck so if i need to i can take it off the tractor and put it on the truck. I like how this is set up because any tight driveways i use the blower, for the long ones I go much faster using the plow.

Nice, I think I see only two hydraulic lines going to the plow. It must have two cylinders, how is that set up? Are they single acting cylinders, on my plow, I have one cylinder, double acting, could i use the same setup on this plow?

That is an incredible setup! I almost bought a Normand Inverted 80" for this season. There can't be a better tool for snow removal. Please continue to post pics as the season progresses.

Is this your first season?

I previously had a kubota m7040 that i ran set up the same way.. I wanted more horsepower and the 12 speed trans so i made the switch. You will not regret having an inverted blower!!
