I got the machine delivered on Thursday. All looks good. I will be servicing it shortly. I need to weld on a bucket tooth and figure out how to add a piston to the thumb. It is all plumbed for a hydraulic one. I will post some pictures but the pin size now on the thumb is 2" for the rigid mount. Not many pistons seem to have a 2" diameter pin end.

I just ordered from ebay 3 H@L 230 sp teeth for around $8 each. It looks like a good quality forged tooth with the correct 1 1/2" square opening.

How many teeth on the bucket ,If they used the bucket with a tooth missing the shank is most likely junk

5 teeth but the shank is fine. He did not dig with it. The machine sat for the last year

Here is the machine. I have a few questions on the service schedule. What is the pilot filter,roller and idler gear oil and travel device gear oil? Any ideas on changing the thumb to a piston? I do not think I can just buy a piston for it. Something will probably have to be welded on to the thumb. The holes for the pin you see are 2" diameter.
