Well, it's time to get this load of Ash split!
and as a friend came over and offered to help, we drove the tractor/splitter out to the wagon and got after it, (with some "snain" delays in between lol)
On the bigger rounds, we just pushed them through the 4-way,
Then flip what was left on top of the 4-way, over back onto the beam and push it through the 4-way again,
This splitter has some serous power and easily pushes EVERYTHING through the 4-way, so it made fast work of that load of rounds, giving me a nice big pile of splits!
As this firewood is for the 2018/19 heating season, that pile will sit right until next summer and then be boxed for the following fall...
Next, I have my eye on some big oak!
