I grabbed this picture the other christmas when we were headed home from the tree lot. I had my tree inside my excursion, put a tarp down and 8' of space. This guy didn't have the luxury I guess.

Heck - who drives a Vette in the snow???

Trucks are $60k anymore. People don't seem to mind with those....

Nobody is tying a tree to the roof of a truck. And even if they did it is higher than anyone can see so the scratches will never be visible. Not waist-level like a 'Vette.

I'm always baffled by people who care so little about their stuff (especially really nice, expensive stuff) that they do things like this 'Vette driver did. If you can own a car like that you probably also own another car more suited to such a chore. Or you should have a friend with a truck/van/minivan/SUV that could probably help you. But in this case either someone has too much money or they didn't buy the car.

Trucks have uses other than the sole purpose of looking good. Without a vette's good looks, what does it have?

More speed than a truck.

Granted that is useless to most folk. I'd reckon that's why there are more trucks sold than Corvettes (or likely all sports cars combined).

And some don't use things they have for fear of messing them up.

I'm not a proponent of either.

I try to take good care of all my stuff, old or new. Schitt still happens, and it usually makes swear words come out.

That thing may be two days away from repo. Who knows?
