Since I have the SSQA that Kubota came out with this year, the 48 inch wicked grapple is off the table. So that leaves me the wicked 55 inch 208lb clamshell type root rake grapple, and the 50 inch root grapple that has one cylinder that weighs 274 lbs. The latter root grapple looks just like my construction attachments extreme duty grapple I had on my skid steer. I believe Ted's brother makes them. I like the full bottom on the grapple, but then again it weighs more.
Lastly the is there land pride clamshell style grapple that is 54 inches and weighs 190lbs.
In real world applications am I going to be able to tell a difference in lift capacity by adding 100 to 150 lbs of weight to the front end loader of my BX23s?
Sorry guys, I know there are millions of posts about grapples on here. And I have actually had the biggest and baddest on my Bobcat T190, but that is sold now and with Little Orange I have to pay attention to the details.
