65 sunny up to 92.
Got my last field of sunflowers planted yesterday. Now just to wait til Wednesday and hope we get the kind side of the 50% chance of thunderstorms...not too little, not too much, sort of a Goldilocks rain.
Had to run a coon off while putting out the first hummingbird feeder. At least they have stopped coming up on the porch.
Great sunset last night...glowed golden orange long after sunset...but then I smelled smoke...hope no forest fires in the mountains. I wish Ed were still here...he'd know.
The Slime is still holding air in the mower tire, but looks like my alignment is off again, and the mower deck seems to be hanging a bit tilted, so I'll wrestle with that today.
Well, finished my coffee, so need to get back out and finish feeding the birds, and then water the garden.

though I can remember chucking mud balls and sticks at each other in the woods behind hastily made forts

Poured first cup of coffee. 62° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 87° with sunny skies. Only thing on my list today is tree stump. It is free from the ground. But has been to heavy for my tractor to move. Most of the dirt has dried up and fallen off. Going to get it moved even if I have to drag it into the woods on other side of property. Then some NASCAR.
Drew, lots of scrap metal there. Your neighbor could have a few dollars in his pocket if he hauled it all to a scrap metal dealer.

71 here in Markham, ON this fine A.M. going to a high of 90 (No that is NOT a typo) The first heat warning of the season.
I am going to shut this 'puter down and wash my little truck then fire up my genny and veg until 7 P.M. and go load.

61F now 90 for high,next 3-4 days going to be warm little to warm for my liking.
Plans today...take the trimmer hour an half or walk than get fuel for mowers and pickup before noon,later today take the day as it comes.

This is the last year they Speed Queen can make them before the government steps in and makes Speed Queen make the washers HE. (Next year they will have a switch that than can turn HE on and off.) Mom will be able to wash again by Monday afternoon. The 6 year old Kenmore washer with (HE sensors) repair would have cost more than a new Kenmore ($299) - they are truly disposable.
A comercial grade washer with no computer on it and all mechanical switches is a rare find, maybe I should buy a few more.[/QUOTE]

Just keep things simple I say last longer easier to fix if need be,but I guess they make more money on "disposable" units.

Ron I ask him about scrap value almost every time I see him, offer to come grapple some of this junk onto a trailer
and take it to the local recycler. Oh there's a lot of money out there. un huh.
am off to water the veggie garden, thanks for reminding me Billy
blueberries and strawberries almost every day, not many, and often not enough to make it inside
Lot of quality control going on. QC can be quite enjoyable, just have to have a delicious product.
