12 volt outlet

Has anyone here ever installed a 12 volt outlet kit on a Ventrac or Steiner? If so, how difficult is it to do?

Both front and rear outlet kits are available from Ventrac. Don't know about Steiner.

I have installed the front kit on my two units. Instructions are easy to follow. Not very difficult - on a scale of 1-10 maybe a 3.

I have done the rear on my Ventrac 4500Y. My dealer did the front installation (as well as one channel of front hydraulics) prior to delivering the tractor to me. The front installation was in connection with the rotary broom. The rear installation was for possible future use. The rear installation was a piece of cake, but I have done a lot of electronics work and electrical wiring over the years, so I am probably not in a position to be a good judge for someone who lacks experience.

I have a few outlets.
Both use Anderson connectors, a small one is to power my fueling pump and it has an automatic breaker near the battery.

A larger one is for my jumper cables while this is unprotected but very well isolated and even the HD cabling is sheathed in rubber tubing, the +12v cable is also very short.
